That depends on how you see it and it is really only up to you. But if you want any numbers or average to compare with, it is the only way to go, as that is how all the researches on length are done. And imo, numbers and stats don`t matter at all if not only to compare with an average. People often exaggerate and round up and even plain out lies or just measure wrong anyway.
