Vintage Jocks - When Men Were Men

Thought I post some old vintage photos, many from LIFE magazine of men hanging out in jocks and of a time when men, were basically just men. No modesity, no fear... What Happened?
I'm trying to get the second set which are shower black and whites and some other interesting photo's from LIFE magazine from a time almost forgotten.

Wow, this takes me back. I think I was at the end of an era, my high school gym class looked like this 1980-1984, open gang showers, most were in a jockstrap or tightie whities. As far as the really vintage shower rooms left over from the 1960s, those were still seen in the 1980s at places like Coney Island, Cincinnati, rows & rows, hundreds & hundreds of lockers with multiple, 10 man open shower rooms, guys standing naked in line, or sharing a showerhead cold water only, concrete floors, shared bars of soap (not plastic soap dispensers). Back then, I never saw guys putting there underwear on under towels. An era vanished.

I saw Joe Nameth in a few of those pics, neat.

Yep, that was Joe and I believe the hockey player is Bobby Hull. It's been fun to try and find these vintage pics and not ones from the porn industry - the real stuff, the way it was back then. My high school years were 1976 thru 1980. Everybody worn a jock for gym and showered afterward. We did this starting in junior high. God forbid you didn't wear your jock in 7th grade.
Nudity was really nothing dirty or anything to be ashamed of, as the picture cleray depict. Glad you liked them.
