That's a fun ad! Don't think I've seen it, but curious about Athena brand underwear now. Oh and I need her x-ray specs!
Loved that ad! Too bad there weren't more like it in the 90s. So fun and sexy!
I recall Entertainment Tonight even did a story on the model (I think his name was Jeff something?), there was also a bit about Roger Craig and his underwear ad, so this was circa 1990, I believe.

Funny! There was actually a series of ads in the US in the 1980s featuring a bunch of female under inspectors and they even had a magnifying glass!
No sexy men on display, but maybe for the best.
Curious about that one-piece. I think International Male used to have something like that as well, but hardly practical, when you need to answer nature's call.
