I'd like to go up to 50.000 iu but I'm around 10.000 iu a day since 1000 iu a pill is the max they sell here.

Came across the importance of vitamin D because I was researching skincancer and sunscreen, as the use of it actually increases skincancer by reducing vitamin D intake and trashing your body with preservative chemicals.

Now I'm researching it online and study says it helps with virtually anything from fat loss to preventing cancer and now finding out making your dick bigger by 10%.

If anything I don't understand why worldwide governments say we should have only 200 iu daily as it prevents and helps cure with ANYTHING and should reduce healthcare costs by a lot.

yes i aggree, 200 iu us nowhere near enough unless your out in the sun alot of the time.

I wouldn't take 50,000 a day. My doctor recently had me take 50,000 weekly for a month. Then dropped the dosage to 50,000 every 2 weeks for a month and now I take one 400IU daily. I think you can get into trouble taking 50,000 daily. If a little is good, more isn't necessarily better. You had best research this some more. 50,000IU per day is too much.

Some new studies have suggested that we need more Vitamin D. Most people are deficient in it due to sunscreen and reduced time spent outdoors. That being said, 50,000 IUs is way too high for an otherwise healthy (or even unhealthy) person, and supplementation at those levels is usually only suggested in people with an impaired parathyroid or calcium absorption problems. Your body has ways of controlling active Vitamin D levels (Vitamin D is inactive and converted to active dihydroxy cholecalciferol in the kidneys), but even controlled levels become elevated at high dosages. This leads to elevated levels of blood calcium, which is extremely dangerous and extremely fatal. It's often undetected until it's too late. Stop using it and see your doctor if you're peeing often, have skin itchy, or develop a metalic taste in your mouth.

On top of that that article is from a blog and the only links he provides are to websites where you can buy Vitamin D. He doesn't link to any studies. A quick search on pubmed didn't reveal any link between Vitamin D and penis size.

well, just saw that second blog you posted. While it posted studies, it only suggested taking 2000IU of vitamin D daily, which is well within reasonable limits.

I raised the possibility of vitamin D deficiency with my doctor this winter and had a blood test which revealed that it was so. I was prescribed a high dose supplement (25,000 iu) to be taken once a week for six weeks.

Now I need to have tests for vitamin D and calcium levels to determine further treatment.

Vitamins A and D are dangerous in overdose and should not be taken unsupervised.

Did you notice any penis growth?

My 50 000 iu arrived yesterday, im going to take 2 a week.Il go to the doctors to get a blood test after a few weeks to make sure my levels arnt too high.
Il report back if i get any growth lol

No, I didn't notice any penis growth.

But I did get over a nagging cough I'd had for a while and it was the first winter ever that I caught no colds.

Vitamin D deficiency is becomming more common probably because of people avoiding exposure to the sun and eating low-fat dairy products. Semi-skimmed milk cuts the fat content from 2% to 1% (negligable) but halves the Vitamin A and D, so I'm switching back to unskimmed.

There was a case of a guy taking 1.000.000 IU's of vitamin D due to a production error.

the level in his blood was raised to 500 after a few weeks avoiding the sun it got down to 300.

He didn't die he didn't get poisoned or sick.

50.000 a day up to 6 weeks has been proven to be safe.

after the load up, it is recommended to lower the dosage to 5000 IU a day.

Almost everyone here (except moi) is dangerously vitamin D deficient. Which is the way the FDA, suntan lotion companies, cancer industry, and pharmaceutical companies want it. (but that's a whole other topic)

Vitamin D is ESSENTIAL for optimum health. The main way to get it is from the sun. Vitamin D PREVENTS cancer, which means being in the sun PREVENTS skin cancer. You've all been told the opposite is true and the reason behind that is money.

Everyone needs a minimum of 5,000 IU/day of vitamin D along with (and this is crucial) the proper amount of magnesium. It's very, very difficult to OD on vitamin D although it is possible. I took 20,000 IU/day of vitamin D for a month, then dropped it to 10,000 IU/day. I don't think I would do more than 20,000 IU/day for more than a month. It takes several months before the body has enough D to start noticing the benefits and about 6 months before you start enjoying what it's doing for you. It has made an unbelievable difference in what's happening to my body. Everything that was wrong, is gone.

The darker you are, the more time in the sun you need to make vitamin D. Also, NEVER TAKE SYNTHETIC VITAMIN D!!!!


As for making you dick grow, I haven't found that in all of my studies on it, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. I'll have to check into that! :)

10 minutes of sun exposure per day will naturally produce all the vitamin D your body needs.The pathway that your body uses it through sun exposure is more beneficial than through supplementation.
If you can't get any sun taking D3 is beneficial. 1000 IU/day is all that's needed. For people who are deficient 5000 IU/day for about 4-5 weeks is used to bring blood levels up and then the dosage is reduced. Vitamin D toxicity risk is present at dosages above 10,000 IU/day.
The government RDA is the minimum amount necessary to prevent rickets and was established long before the true nature and benefits of vitamin D were known.

Anyway, another plus I discovered, I had severe athletes foot on my right foot which has almost dissapeared since taking doses of 50.000 a day.

I take 6000iu of Vitamin D a day, and my blood level is still in the mid-range. I had one doctor tell me to take 10,000iu for optimum breast health. But that is an opinion, because there is not enough evidence to know for sure if it that much Vit. D will protect breast tissue. My pharmacist says he takes 20,000iu a day. No matter how much you take, make sure your doctor is doing blood work to check your levels.

How long have you been taking the 50 000?

All ive noticed so far (3 weeks) is the condition of my nails and hair is really good.
