Ok, this is the best thing my ears have heard in a while, at least since sleep through the static by jack johnson. I've listened to this album back to back for 3 days now and I just CANNOT get viva la vida out of my head, it's almost poetic in the lyrics. Opinions on this album??

i haven't bought the album yet, but i do love the title track and Violet Hill. The album is getting nothing but great reviews, so i'm excited to get it.

go Coldplay!

and lol, because there was just a thread a while back which was totally Anti-Coldplay.

You'll like "Death and All His Friends" too.

I have to admit I am a little underwhelmed by the album. I agree that some of thr tracks are brilliant such as "Viva..." and "Voilet Hill" but I do think their past albums have been much stronger. They are still a great band, but I had hoped for something with a little bit more of a lasting effect - maybe during futher listening I will change my mind, fingers crossed!
