Some great choices above, especially KD Lang.

The purest voice I think I have ever heard was Joan Baez.

Rosemary Clooney could sing.

Sinatra said Ella Fitzgerald was his fave.

I just got dragged kicking and screaming to see Tony Bennett. I want to see *The Police* and did a tit for tat.

He was fantastic. 80 years old and still has the pipes. Great entertainer.

Annie Lennox, Alanis Morrisette, Shawn Colvin, Lucinda Dickey, Natalie Maines, Natalie Merchant, Tina Fey, Sarah Mac, Mary Chapin Carpenter, would be at the top in my all time list of women I would want to sleep with. Helen Mirren too. Had to add something sexual. :)

Oh, she's so sweet in her demeanor . I would really like to see her do a duet albumn with John Legend -- they seem so much alike with their positive, upbeat lyrical R&B style.

I'm schizophrenic when it comes to Michel Buble. We can appreciate the nostalgia that he invokes by singing songs from the classic crooners and legends. Still, why have a cheap imitation when you can just go listen to the original song in the first place? I challenge Buble to sing one original song that makes it to a respectable position on the charts. I could respect him more as an artist, rather than an imitator, if he were more original.

Also, ... some of his vocals can be a little too nasally.
