Thing is, they brought her over to the "give 'em Cain" AZ house and down by the creek (makeup will cover the mosquito bites!), showed her how to be a typical McCain attack dog. Question is, will Biden go on the defense or have his own offense. Who will loose their cool first? Should be interesting and help make up some independent minds.

It really shouldn't be close. Palin has a lot difficulty organizing her thoughts.

The only thing that I can foresee making it close would be that Biden over-talks everything, and that he may have a lot of pressure on him being expected to deliver such a convincing win.

She can be "tough" if she wants but I think that in those cases she was completely prepared. In any case, we shall see in 1/2 hour.

No offense, 15, but that's what I mean about these so-called "debates" being much more about posturing, personalities and political theater and much less about bona fide exchange of ideas. I mean, I often get the feeling these "debates" are about as meaningful as pro wrestling events.

I'd hope that undecideds will make up their minds on more substantial criteria than on who commits the first gaffe or who appears to sweat or who gets off the best one-liner.

I'm watching now & my question is, what good is a debate when one refuses to answer direct questions and simply spouts off whatever they want to say?

God help the USA if that woman is VP--She is full of typical GOP buzzwords and does not have a punctuation mark if her life depends on it. Only Tina Fey can truly be happy with her.

Palin should have cut that bang shorter. Her hair keeps going into her left eye, giving her a nervous twitch.

true, she was given an agenda and a script. As long as Joe Biden keep pointing out that she does not answer the questions, it will go his way.

She memorized what she wants to cover but as evident in the Katie interview, she could not remember her own state's supreme court decision.

One more thing, I am so very glad that Joe is now starting to look into the camera instead of exclusively to Gwen.

Also glad, that he got the "Bridge to Nowhere" dig in. Yea! :biggrin1:

Joe does need to slow down a bit so he does not stumble over his own words.

Did I miss anything? (Sadly, a nest of crickets found their way into my home and I have been running like crazy to get all of them when I see them!). I missed about 40 minutes.

OMG, she just used Regan's "There you go again!"

Now she is talking to the back home kids!
