Use a real sound that's actually designed to be inserted into your urethra. Accept no substitutes as the other stuff can hurt you and fuck up your urethra.

The best and safest thing to use is a real, medical-type urethral sound. They are not cheap. But you don't have to buy a whole set of them. They come in various sizes, and several different styles (some are curved, and some are straight, etc.) They are made out of stainless steel.

I did it a little bit, but decided to stop before it became too stretched out an unseemly. I started off with a touchscreen pen like the one for the DS, pretty small.
