So just what were these "truths" that were revealed that "the American people deserved to know"

You even heard Trump surrogates after the election say how it was all her fault anyway and the direct result of her having her "illegal private server" despite the fact that none of the E-mails in question came from there and the FBI stated they could find no evidence that that server had ever been "hacked"

The movie "Sneakers" taught me that it is not reality that matters, but the public perception of reality.

Once control of the narrative is lost, the cows are essentially out of the barn. Timing is everything. Politics is a chess game. Always will be. And the increased presence of social media and the public's addition to it, as will as gossip, will only make it more challenging to dodge irrelevant issues in future campaigns.

I think theft is theft. This isn't the case of some kind of whistle blower. It's theft of private information and I have a pretty black and white view of it accordingly.

I don't bend my morals in support of lawlessness just because I don't like the victim.

Theft is theft, I agree, but I believe there is an underlying argument in play.

The question one must ask themselves is, "Am I upset that the information about ____ was made public?" Or shall they ask themselves, "Am I upset that the information about ___ was true in the first place?"

So just what were these "truths" that were revealed that "the American people deserved to know"

That within the campaign there was a little bit of "infighting" between HRC "loyalists" Sheryl Mills etc etc and other long time Democrats that while wanting to see here win were not quite in that "inner circle"

Gee what a shocker !!

That at the DNC they preferred a little bit or a whole lot to have someone who was and had been an actual bonafide "registered Democrat" for decades over someone who at the time and to the best of my knowledge never ever became one.

As I recall what he said was he would register as one IF he won the nomination.

Especially when plenty of polling and other data/stats said she had the better chance of winning and in the end other than his next door state (NH) caucuses mostly in smaller and less diverse states he did in fact loose, all the primaries big states that were more diverse, NY other states in the North East any where in the South, the west AZ and CA he in fact lost.

No I think what the hacks and the subsequent leaks did, and made all the difference or at least just enough of the difference especially because of the "drip drip drip" nature of them was it kept "E-mails" front and center in the news and by extension peoples minds, always reminding people of Clinton's so called "E-mail scandal" and made it easily conflate-able so much so that these E-mails were routinely called or referred to as "Hillary Clinton's E-mails" even though practically none of them were either from or too her.

You even heard Trump surrogates after the election say how it was all her fault anyway and the direct result of her having her "illegal private server" despite the fact that none of the E-mails in question came from there and the FBI stated they could find no evidence that that server had ever been "hacked"

Is it legal to permit one's maid to handle classified material?

Political espionage is not a matter of freedom of information, it's a malicious impartial leak to disturb the democratic process.

I agree with you, to a point. Isn't it fair to say that, had the emails not contained information about malfeasance and corruption on the part of Hillary and the DNC, it wouldn't have had any effect?

What's the point of pretending to be educated in the same reply you send snarky memes?
But all right, I'll try to debate with a pig. Hillary had no corruption, the FBI clear her after several weeks of intentionally imputing doubt on her integrity. They found nothing. There was not evidence of corruption in the emails. I can debate with a pig, but if you have no intention of being sincere, this is going to be pointless.
