AS BOTH OF THESE TREATIES HAVE BEEN STALLED IN THE CONGRESS FOR MONTHS. OBAMA HAS MOVED AROUND THE NATION URGING AUDIENCES TO PUSH CONGRESS TO PASS THEM . THEY FINALLY DID , BY A LARGE MARGIN, INTACT.
MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. THESE TREATIES WILL BRING JOBS TO THE U.S. AS SOUTH KOREA AND THREE NATIONS IN SOUTH AMERICA HAVE AGREED TO BUY MORE OF OUR TECHNOLOGY AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS.
THE WASHINGTON POST TODAY (10-13-11) SAYS THIS IS A MAJOR VICTORY FOR HIM, AS TONIGHT THE PRESIDENT OF SOUTH KOREA IS AT THE WHITE HOUSE FOR A RARE STATE DINNER.
    EXCELLENT TIMING.
ANOTHER REASON WHY I PREFER TO REELECT OBAMA IN PLACE OF THE GOP CLOWN CIRCUS WITH ITS FLAVA OF THE MONTH.
THIS MONTH? SELF DESCRIBED (ON CNN) BLACK WALNUT HAAGEN DAAS HERMAN CAIN !!! YEAH, HE IS NUTS , FULL OF FAT AND HIS 999 PLAN IS THE DEVIL'S 666 PLAN AS BACHMANN WAS REPORTED TO HAVE SAID, PER CNN TODAY. :biggrin1:

It may be a victory for him, but could be a kick in the teeth for the American worker if it means what few manufacturing jobs left in the country could be shipped to those countries instead.

That key on the left side that has "Caps Lock" written on it? Press it please. And I can't believe you would repeat that vile label. You must be racist.

^^Flaming again? It's getting old and redundant.

OT: I think this will be a good thing for all countries involved. More jobs could possibly open up for Americans due to the increased demand.

Hmm...obama announced it....mulled over it for 2 plus years and finally submitted it and congress took a little over 100 days to finalize and approve it. How is this stalled when obama talked about it and never presented it until he was pressured?
incompetent, indecisive, incoherent...He looks like a deer in headlights! What's the first thing insurance and law enforcement says if a deer crosses in front of you...Don't swerve, you’re better off hitting the deer than causing an accident!

You ever run into one of those things? You hit a deer, you've *been* in an accident.

OK, sorry, off topic. Move along. Nothing to see here.

these treaties are NOT 2 years old. both were negotiated in the last year. congress sat on its hands and did nothing. the GOP made little or no effort to ratify them until the president started hammering them about it this fall. amazing what the bully pulpit can do, yes? while this is no panacea for the employment, it will provide jobs in both the tech sector and the car sector( president Lee went to Detroit yesterday to announce how this treaty will pull NO jobs to south Korea and create jobs for Americans). the other treaty does the same with Argentina (the worlds 8th largest nation in population), peru and chile. all in all, good news for the US and for Obama.

I love how you have to yell how successful Obama is incessantly and repeatedly on these boards. Who are you trying to convince? Yourself?

You sound like a child trying to convince it's parents that it just did something good.

    Success speaks for itself.
