watching porn at college.

Im a new freshman, and I was wondering.

If I watch porn on the campus network, will that get me in trouble? I don't specifically remember reading something that states you couldn't watch porn, but I am kinda worried. I know they monitor tormenting because it is illegal, but since im 18, does that mean im free to watch porn?

But, I guess porn is easy, I can do it on my phone. But I also love to webcam on lpsg and jack off. So, I can't do that on the phone. I guess I will just have to wait for the weekends where I come home.

I know this topic doesn't really fit here, but I didn't know where else to put it.

Sure most colleges and Universities have a policy in their handbooks, stating it is not allowed On their system. I know plenty of students, that have their own mifi systems, and own computers in their dorms or apts, to watch porn on and other things without the school knowing. I know when I sign on my mifi, There are all kinds of networks. To do their school stuff they use the school networks. I would be paying close attention to the age requirements for viewing/renting porning as some states it is only 18 others it is 21, same with the level of porn.. My neighbor kid, he is doing private party stripping to pay the way thru school, and the parents know and approve of it.

I have same worry....
University use Cloud-computing to monitor every Internet user in campus.
But don't know what will they do!?!?

Sure, it may depend on the school you're going to, but I agree with Tross, dude. Monitoring every student's internet usage, page by page, would be way more of a pain in the ass than any school I went to would go through. Think of how many people there are in the dorms at your school, and then figure that somewhere around 100% of the guys are going to be using the internet for porn. Would you want to be the one who monitors what each and every one of them is looking at? All day, every day?

You know you're not allowed to torrent, so I'd say stay away from that and you probably won't get in any trouble, unless you're at some fundamentalist religious college.
