Yes, they should set the Iron Dome Interception Rate to 18.7462%, so that the Israeli casualties match the Gaza ones exactly.

I'd absolutely love it if you were given the opportunity to live under the Israeli govt, and then given the opportunity to live under Hamas/ISIS/MB/Al Qaeda and whatever other muslim extremists you want to defend on here and assuming they allow you to live (which of course they won't), I'd love to see you to be able to reflect on such a statement so you could really know who the the "boogeyman" is and who is suffering from the "misunderstanding".

Again you hear and watch what you choose as do I. This is America
You are also free to put words and meanings where you would want them to be to suit your frame of reference

He is only 50% gay. He may qualify for a half-beheading.

In Israel has the freedom to live the way you want and not as someone pointed out here that in Israel Hasidim will hurt gay people .

Of course, the religious do not accept it but there is some Religious that gets it ?
And it is absurd that you are comparing between Israel and isis. I really try to explain the easiest way, Israel defends itself from Hamas that fires over 3500 rockets.
You're trying to paint Israel as the bad but no country was making all efforts that Israel does not hurt the innocent.
You know that Israel has set up a field hospital at the Erez crossing to the Palestinians, and Hamas would not let them go there? More than that, you know that Hamas fired at that hospital?
You know how many wounded Palestinians came to hospitals in Israel during this war?

Another bullet, another bomb, another missile, another drone, another laser guided weapon, another satellite guided viewing, another word perfect post. Yet, they can't find a huge plane. No one was looking. Ha..hahahahahaha.

Don't worry, there is plenty of everything when the right people want it. If you had a few billion in your pocket, people would do anything you want.

Ummm, who pays for those satellites, laser guided weapons, etc, guns and blood? Yet when we need it, it's secret.

Pini, here is a quote for you

"The Israeli military analyst Zeev Schiff summarized General Gur’s comments as follows:

“In South Lebanon we struck the civilian population consciously, because they deserved it … the importance of Gur’s remarks is the admission that the Israeli Army has always struck civilian populations, purposely and consciously … the Army, he said, has never distinguished civilian [from military] targets … [but] purposely attacked civilian targets when Israeli settlements had not been struck.”(2) (emphases added)

This history is particularly important, it gives a clear context to the recent historical findings which echo the exact same sentiments, and thus prove that the strategic military doctrine has not much changed throughout the years, and that these genocidal policies are instead longstanding and rooted in tradition."

My point would be that this policy has run its course in Gaza. It needs to end and it is achieving nothing other than to bring to the World's attention the whole issue of Israeli land grabs over the last two generations and the conditions in which they keep the displaced people. They will continue to fight until the two State solution is put in place, and the world generally dos not blame them.

Is the two state solution still viable? Was it ever viable?

If you try something and it doesn't work, try again. Maybe try a third time. But only a fool doesn't realise that something isn't going to work and keeps on trying.

I think a starting point in discussion has to be that the two state solution was an interesting idea that has not worked. We therefore need different solutions. Maybe we need to look at a West Bank as a sub-sovereign entity federated with Israel. Maybe we need to remember that the majority of the present population of Gaza are the descendants of refugees and there is a sense in which Gaza is the world's biggest and longest-lasting refugee camp. Perhaps an answer is in resettlement of refugees within the Arab world.

But that is the point - a solution has to accept reality. Israel isn't going to back down over land within the area presently administered by Israel.

I'm not interested in some moral argument, or in a history lesson. We need a solution right now. And a starting point for any solution has to be that Israel gets what it wants. Compromise? It's not an option. We can pontificate on this lack of compromise being a bad thing but it's the reality.

The West Bank probably does have solutions - it is the two state solution that is stopping them being implemented, which is ridiculous. Gaza - well the world will look different once the West Bank is solved.
