frankly, i loathe the Tebows.
the am having a great time watching him look absolutely atrocious at the Senior Bowl this week, and his draft stock is plummeting.
Drink Gatorade- not Hator-ade.
he is nothing more than the collegiate football face of religious facism.
He is a man who loves God and who is blessed to be one of the best football players - if not the best player in college football history. And he will continue to be blessed as he continues his career.
the bullshit about how they are just "celebrating life" is ridiculous...so what he is saying is that woman, with an unwanted pregnancy, and in dangerous health, should go against her doctor's medical advice, and risk her life, because that child might grow up to be a quarterback?
No. This is one woman's story. Pam Tebow's pregnancy experience was a threat to her health and her baby's health. She prayed to God for guidance, grace and mercy for her child and God answered her prayer. Every medical situation regarding abortion isn't one where a woman must lose the baby despite the doctor gives for an example, a 50% /50% chance of a safe pregnancy. It's a decision for the woman to make and Pam Tebow is just telling her story...of how God brought her and her baby through the danger. Her son was meant to be born and his life is it's own powerful testimony.
how fucking selfish can these people be?
the *DIFFERENCE* was that the Tebow's *PLANNED* and wanted to have him...so going against medical advice was a much easier choice for them...but for an unwed mother, who did not plan it, or was raped, and is in danger of losing her life, the Tebow's believe she should think how lucky she is because her kid could grow up to be a virginal college quarterback
No.
This is one woman's story. Every woman where abortion comes up during her pregnancy has a difficult decision to make. If this ad allows a woman to consider what could be the life of the unborn and if Pam Tebow's testimony testifies that God is faithful to those making the hardest choice in life, it is a positive and will be a blessing to those who receive it.
This $2.5M ad doesn't stop any abortions, it is wasted money.
If FoF ready wanted to stop abortions, they would have used that $2.5M to pay women not to have abortions.
The ad isn't about celebrating life nor preventing abortions, it's about marketing and making some people feel good.
I disagree. I believe parents who are in the difficult position of considering abortion may be moved by her story. It may open their hearts to allow God to speak to their spirit.
There's more to this ad than what you see on the surface. It appears that Pam Tebow didn't have a choice because in the Philippines, where she was living, abortion is illegal. The only reason she may have had a "choice" (to do something illegal in terminating her pregnancy) is because she was white, (relatively) rich and privileged over there - which is what tends to happen when you criminalize abortions - rich women still have a "choice" and poor women don't. So that's why the ad is wrong - because it's deceitful.
You described nothing deceitful in the ad. But you did reveal that you will keep trying to discredit it with a bunch of weak garbage.
