Having a cockring on on family beach sounds sort of obscene to me (not that I wouldn't do it in kinky beach areas). Then the cockring is either too lose, i.e. meaningless, or it is intended to get a boner. Beach boners, IMHO, do not belong to family beaches.

So I have taken to wearing a metal cock ring almost constantly - built up to it - even sleep with it. Its properly sized at 50 mm ID - so when hard its tight but allows blood to flow. Love the feeling of it and now feel naked without it. I am going to find the heaviest one I can in that size and start wearing it. A word of caution - make sure you have a properly sized ring and build up to wearing it over longer time periods. I would never do this - especially sleep - with a cock ring that is elastic - a metal one is fine as it will allow blood flow but make sure its properly sized. I cannot stress that enough.

For me, sizing is critical when it comes to how long I can comfortably wear a ring. I use silicone exclusively... I love the look of steel and chrome, but my balls ride really high (often to the point of retracting), and I've never been able to cram myself into a rigid ring.

But the silicone is good for me. I have several, in very slightly different sizes: the tight ones do amazing things for my balls, but I can only wear them for 20 mins or so without discomfort. The looser ones still look the part, and I can wear them all day long. Sometimes I even forget I'm wearing one!
