I think have a venous leak and have to wear a cock ring for the head of my dick to stay fully hard. I find if I wear it throughout the day, I actually get spontaneuos erections unlike I used too - which is great. And I am generally hornier. And by wearing the extent of my 'venous leak' is acually improving I think.

But to the main point, I ws considering wearing it to bed so I can have some good morning wood. The ring I wear is tight, but not overly so - and my penis naturally deflates from an erection, even if I don't come, to a completely flaccid state without having to take it off. So I was thinking it might be good for my general health to wear one to bed so I can have solid erections throughout the night. The problem is ofcourse getting a hardon that I can't get rid of and not knowing, but like I said the erections seem to deflate ok by themselves.

Do you think this is an O.k idea? I was going to for the first few times set an alarm for the middle of the night so I can wake up and' check' on everything. Anyone else had experiences wearing cock rings to bed and just 24/7?

Well, it is very important to KNOW if you have "venous leak" or not. It very well could be other things such as: arterial disease, a veinal breach, or even psychological issues. Fortunately, surgery can correct this problem if, in the event that is venous leak.

I have read similar cautions. But my experience has been that wearing a cock ring for several hours is no problem whatsoever. Can't wear one during sleep though(see my other post).
So called "professional" advice is always overly cautious, probably to prevent law suits.

So since youknow you have this Leak, 7x5.5, I assume you've been to a doctor and that at this point you should be comfortable discussing this with him...always better getting professional advice especially when it comes to "the guys" as I call them.
I, too, thought that wearing a cock ring for an extended period of time was not a good idea but some fellow members seem to have a good reaction...IF I did wear one to bed, I would go with the rubber ones only because I would imagine is the hard-on was too hard and stiff it would be easier to remove a rubber one than a metal one.

Very True.....a doctors adivse is always best. As for the comfort of rings at night. I wear there rubber ones. They will at least give a little...I have worn the metal ones once .....I thought my dick was going to explode, it got so hard. The rubber one really are comfortable for me. Of course I don't wear a tight fitting one. I like the 1 3/4 myself....

It is a very bad idea to wear a ring to bed. Wearing it for more than 25-30 minutes during an erection can actually damage some penile tissue (as an ongoing natural erection would). I would advise against it...and can't really figure out why you would want slumber lumber.

I have only once found a cockring that fit me, and I lost it (ex took it) about a year ago. To fit around both my cock and balls, I need something with a diameter of at least 2.5"...not readily available. :sigh1:

Don't most guys usually have morning wood from needing to take a leak?

I wear a thick, heavy steel ring almost 24/7 cause I love the way it feels kinda making everything hang down, and yes, it does keep your balls out from between your legs. It's almost become like a piece of jewelry for me. Kinda like wearing a watch.

However, I have had occasions where I've been so hard it's kinda scared me because it took so long to get flaccid enough to remove the ring. Nonetheless, I prefer the metal ones to leather snap variety. Rubber rings are a great idea cause they do give. If using metal, it's really important that you're using the correct diameter, so if in doubt, get fitted for one (this in itself is an interesting procedure).

I take mine off at night simply because I keep my balls and the base of my dick shaved and after a day's worth of wear, it starts to chafe. Overnight is my recuperation time.

Does anyone have any comments on priapism? I'm not sure it's caused by cock rings, but I suppose anything's possible, especially if you're rock hard and can't get it to go down, but I think the condition is mainly a physiological "misfiring" and not caused by an external "thing".

Not to change the subject, but you guys who take Viagra (et. al.), how many mgs. do you take? I split the 100 mgs. and find that's plenty. 100 mgs makes me feel really fucked up. Anyone else have a similar experience? Peace.

Phenix: By "really fucked up" what do you mean? Headache, blurred vision, nausea, just a feeling of something not really right, some pain, for instance? Any or all of the above? A couple of years ago, I took Viagra, as well as Cialis, and sometimes had a slightly uncomfortable feeling afterwards, just enough to make me not really enjoy taking them. Of the two, however, Viagra's effects were worse than Cialis. I substituted 100 mgs of Viagra after the 50s didn't provide as much nor as long lasting erections as I wanted.

Thankfully, I no longer need any help to keep my penis hard. The only thing I've done differently is being regular with jelqing exercises that seem to keep better blood circulation to the appendage as well as giving it a capacity to retain more blood.

As you stated I agree that in most cases this type of advice is over cautions.
