@NudePreston - Totally agree! I've been kilted up, wasn't feeling it as I was about to go out, and turned around and changed. The inhibition shows on you, and the rest of the world is a dog that smells the fear on you. When you own the look, you'll be fine.

1. I am allergic to wool.
2. It is hot and humid here, and wool will get you.
3. I just buy Diamond Gusset Jeans because they have lots of built in crotch room.
4. I put a mirror on my shoe, and tried to get near Novice_bttm but he maced me and ran away.

Wool? NEVER! (I live in Miami Beach... too hot for wool!) Mine are canvass. www.utilikilts.com, www.kiltedbros.com, www.sportkilts.com All in comfy non-Scottish Highlands' fabrics! :)

I hope you enjoy yours but where I live there are too many mosquitoes, bees, wasps, snakes, insane squirrels, and whatever to go outside in one. Inside, I go naked.
I guess if you had a poisonous snake fall out of a tree and go down your collar like I did 2 years ago, you wouldn't need to go change clothes.

That wasn't me. I'm shy, and would have nervously LOOKED away, but I still would've stood there, and awkwardly adjusted my stance a little wider.

You'd have to stand there a while. You know you are juicy back.
If you were standing there for that long, stretching your leg out with your mirrored shoe, I'd probably work up the nerve to tell you to go ahead and snap a pic up under there with your phone. :p

Too funny lol
It's happened before. I was at a bar, kilted, and someone told me that a pic was just taken of me. Found out later that it wasn't really of me in a kilt, it was an up-kilt shot. It's probably online somewhere, and I don't even know it.
;)

I've done the same thing. I love wearing a kilt but it has to feel right.

Another good reason is that they're GREAT conversation starters! Random people walk up to me anywhere and start chatting--thx to the kilt!

And If I go out to a straight club... there are always women grabbing me kilt! And I find that really fun!

Utilikilts has been around for quite a while. I've not worn one before, but I think when I eventually do get a kilt, it will be in my ancestral Wallace tartan. And no, I would not be even slightly embarrassed to be out and around wearing one... probably I would be actually more proud. As for going regimental or wearing underwear, it would definitely be a situational call. A cold windy day would not be the time to have your kilt up without your knickers under....
My husband and some of my friends own utilikilts. And one of my friends knows one of the creater/owners. They always get rave reviews. I have never heard anyone complain.

Personally I have two of the utilikilts..... I cant wear them all that often. I cant stop from getting hard while wearing them and get the really funny looks. Especially if Im anywhere near my employees at a construction jobsite (not a good look for the boss). I think its because they are too comfortable and way to light in weight.
I have numerous wool kilts....the real ones and they dont have that same effect on me....go figure.

GOOD THREAD...lol literally
CLAN CAMPBELL HERE :biggrin1:
Ooo!!! Do you have the leather one?!
