Since the beginning of time I’ve been perpetually horny, wanking most mornings and quite often at night too. No trouble cumming whatsoever.

Over the last 4 weeks I’ve been restricting calories, losing 6 kilos quickly… and my libido with it. I’ve started taking viagra to help which has made me hard and thick (which I love) but I am still having trouble cumming. I’ll be hard and no matter how much I wank, I can’t cum.

google research tells me the diet is impacting my testosterone but has anyone had first hand experience of this?

I’m eating more protein than carbs, so no.
how old are you? Not prying, but age plays a role in men with testosterone. And possibly thyroid too. My thyroid was a bit off and my libido was tanking a little bit. Hypothyroidism, even though it is minimal, played a role in my drop, and also some weight gain. My libido bounced back after about 2 months of being on thyroid meds.

I’m 51. The libido loss directly coincided with my change in diet. Given this, I’m pretty certain it’s the reason, I’m just curious about other experiences. Appreciate you replying.

For me it's exactly the opposite. I'm 31, and I lost 20kg since the beginning of the year. Started gym, cut out shit food, and increased protein intake. I could f a sack of potatoes, or if the wind blows a little harder, I get hard too... 😅
I do take creatine and some other basic supplements like zinc, vitamin c, etc, but nothing fancy.

I wouldn't be surprised if the change in diet played a role. I'm often extremely active in the warmer months (outdoor projects and cycling) - and while keeping fit does benefit the libido, mine definitely drops if I push too hard without sufficient calories to recover.

I’ve gone from 2500+ calories to 1300-1500.
Ouch, yeah that’s a lot. Over time that is going to either be unsustainable or wreak havoc on your strength and muscle mass. It makes sense that it affected your testosterone as well.

It’s only been four weeks though. You can level off. I would spend a week or two eating in the 2300-2400 range or whatever your maintenance is. Take a total break from dieting. Then shoot for a 200-500 per day deficit after that.

I'll ditto the thyroid comment. I was surprised when my doctor tested my thyroid in my late 20s (?) (early 30s?) and found it was low after I said I was perpetually tired.

Also, cholesterol is involved in testosterone synthesis, so don't cut out egg yolks in your quest for low fat.
