of Christmas. We all fair differently, for one, we are older:) Yippee :). Probably the other is the giving, it seems to become more, and receiving becomes less, which really I have no hangup about. Giving seems to be, for me anyway, the better part.

The material gift I was given was the box set of Quantum Leap, it's as good as when it was first aired, mostly because the acting was not half bad, not a great deal of special fx and a pretty good story line. Never saw much of Sam Beckett in later productions, but an enjoyable series non the less.

So, did anyone happen to score enjoyable memories for Christmas? They don't have to be material ones. Sometimes sad ones can be good too, we all have those at some stage of our lives.

Having lived solo by choice for almost 30, had same, and enjoyed my own company, as usual, could have gone family, but NO!
gave nor received no gifts, have had about 20 years of this giving / receiving when in a relationship and brought up an illegal, so have experienced all this
3 close persons met there end over a 10 day period, 2 weeks prior to the 25th, all in there 80s, car accident an old Island stalwart, major fall in a faraway Country, attend on day before NY,and a local, who had the best planned send off ever
BUT
have not had any major worry/sadness/regrets yes, the normal sadness.

So overall, ALL GOOD, period has come and gone as expected, move / carry on, all sweet for the expected life of 2014

lpsg and the Ashes has ensured have been kept occupied over this period, all OK!
the loss of either would simply mean you go onto a next phase .. the annual Sydney to Hobart intrigues me also ha ..

I once played cricket, I met one guy during my time that could turn a bowl to swing in mid flight, was amazing to watch. Was given a trophy for being best player by Des Morris (Aussie selector), Peter Lobegeiger was Eastern suburbs goal kicker when Desi was playing front row for Easts A Grade.

Still have all the trophies, memories. Me, I was part of those times. Now I have a relative known by the name of Corey Parker. Plays for the Broncos and QLD.

Sometimes I like to think ( in my own little way), I be the guy that started the line of Rugby in the family cause it all started at Langlands Park. Eastern Suburbs home ground in QLD :) when I be 8 yrs old.
