Strange that some places especially small towns in the south or in Kansas that are still living in the 50's. Virtually unscathed by modern times.
Took a road trip from Syndney to Melbourne on the main road which runs thru a bunch of small towns, which eerily reminded me of a long forgotten innocent pre-World War II America I've seen in old movies, with soda fountain ice cream shops, drug stores with snack counters, corner banks, well kept lawns, and squeeky clean friendly people.
