It says you like lots of space in the back and comfort up front all in understated style :)

It says sturdy, dependable, soft seats and fun to occasionally push the RPMs high, and give her all she has got to give :D

So, I would wager. this is the vehicle for you

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame really. Just that the car manufacturers, like yours too, kept putting their hands out to the government for more money, subsidies etc. You have a government still willing to give your car manufacturers protection and billions in oil subsidies to help the car market...many indirect and direct ways to support manufacturers.

I for one think a country needs to produce it's own civilian vehicles. But we had to look at the reality of it as well. We live next door to the largest car manufactures in the world and cheapest labour. So, we either try desperately to compete, or we find somewhere else, a niche market to throw money at. We still make heaps of stuff, just that for a population of our size to compete with the mega factories filled with robots would be an endless black hole to pitch money down.

We would rather I spose try find jobs for people, as the car industry is becoming even more automated. Even Rolls Royce factories now...the company which once prided itself on hand made vehicles, is mostly automated...does not make a difference to the price though :).

So we are trying to think of new ideas to invest in, for people to have jobs...not robots...it all comes down to money in the end.

I guess you mean it is a pity they closed Holden down! I agree, they made some great cars, almost in secret so as not to annoy GM! They will be missed.

Small car with a large V8....You could rev it up and the front wheel would lift off the ground :)

I don't know what my car says about me, but I bought it because it a beautiful example of automotive art, exquisite inside and out (a pity I could only afford to get one with a Diesel engine). It also very practical for me. It just happens to be an Alfa Romeo!

If I recall one of the last Holdens has a ~400HP LS2 in it. Even in the states that is one bad ass engine, it gets us car builders hard!!

Rem has had people yell at him for being an older overweight racist white man with a little dick and a bunch of other garbage while he was in his '00 Camaro SS.. less so while he is in his '04 Corvette Z06 and thus far not at all in his '96 Dodge Viper GTS (I had to ask for details on the cars, I'm no gearhead). Then his not even middle aged lean/athletic black ass rolls down a tinted window, waves or smiles or some such, and people tend to shut the fuck up and leave, all embarrassed like....
