You supply your address, phone number, sex etc to your provider.

Fit bits and smart watches record everything...heart, sleep patterns, dream states...everything.

Because they fit tightly to your skin, how long do you think they will be likely to sample your DNA?
It all goes to a database, collected not randomly, because it is matched to your provider details you joined up with when you were a teenager. It's called contact tracing. It doesn't go off into the ether.............

Information is data and power, it always has been. Some may go...so what. But for those who post family births, likes and dislikes since birth, privacy of the young has been compromised forever more. It's too late.

It's done.

My parents with all the minimal things they had at the time, knowledge of how a Government or power which invades another is able to access it..as it was...protected my privacy above all, to grow up not weighted down with others expectations and oppression.

Now, data is in the hands of Corporate giants....and you know what.........governments are trying to impose rules to access the information they have gathered over 30 years of social media and sign ups.

Yup. So are you wearing a Fit- Bit or Smart watch? They know what turns you on, off... or what you one day are dreaming about. All through (maybe) a DNA sample supplied to what is strapped to your wrist. And you know one day it will be possible.

People worry about Robots, when corporate giants gather data from the living.............:)

Smart watch, Smart phones, Smart cars........... Dumb humans. Now parents are being marketed to, to fit smart watches to their.....................as if their privacy has not already been destroyed.

My Fitbit congratulates me for reaching 2000 steps and 30 minutes of activity while I'm jerking off.
Good for you. With your provider...What you were watching, searching for. Previous searches, date of birth, address, text messages. Devices you are using, what you have bought with your phone.

It's ok, but I'm guessing you call people "sheepole" too :)

It was just mentioned tonight by the military here in Australia...it's predicted we will be at war with China within 3 to 5 or 10 years.

I have a different view on this....but, with all the hacking of data going on in the world. You have to wonder why other governments want citizens of other countries data, don't you?

Because the data your government and corporates collect...are that of their citizens and users.

Oh...congrats by the way for reaching 2000 steps and the time you did them in............you are no danger to invading troops. :)...I do that before smoko...or walking out to the shed and back.

By the way.........your Fit Bit was manufactured where? Where is your data going? Ummm, whomever pays for it.

It's not a conspiracy theory........because our governments are trying to stop it.

That's quite a stretch, based on a joke I made about your conspiracy theory post.

My Fitbit has the permissions it needs to do what I want it to do, which are showing me notifications and telling my phone I "ran" for 45 minutes.

Maybe not everyone is out to get you, you know. And why you in particular, anyway? Are you special? The chosen one? The child of the prophecy? No, you're a guy with a glass of something that looks delicious for a profile pic. I don't think China cares. I don't think Australia cares either.

All this data is only going to be used by an algorithm to determine if one ad space should display an ad for the new stainless dildo shaped after Rocco Siffredi's penis with vibrations and cumshot on demand. Cum refill not included, use promo code SEAGULL for 5% off. Big deal, advertisers try to make their ads reach people who are the most likely to be interested. Keep it up, and the ads online will show you ads for various brands of low-price tinfoil. Along with penis enlargement pills because you hang out on this website.

Or you can tell Google not to track what you do on their free services, and instead the ad spaces will feature the new Cooking Mama on the Nintendo Switch right next to a spinning top that's designed to spin for a very, very long time and do absolutely nothing else. There's regulations that require you to consent to these trackers, and you can withdraw this consent whenever you decide to.

- A speeperson.

PS:

But can you reach 2000 steps without getting out of your bed? My fitbit confirms that I can.

You are connected to a provider. You, cannot access your data if you do not or sign privacy agreements that force you to give up at least some of your data to do so. But they can.

You probably gather your directions from satellite navigation. You automatically sign over your data to gain access to the network.

Algorithm my arse. Can you decipher the algorithms which are set in place by corporates? Didn't think so.

Just how do you think social media makes it's money? By supplying a free site? Your opinion runs on faith that greed will care for your privacy. Who is the fool here?

You, yes you have provided your personal address when you first bought a phone. Whether it be land line, a mobile (cell) whatever. Do you think for one moment that your data, your usage is not matched with your very first details you supplied?

It would be ok in what you said if it were all not traceable. But, it is. Your records, as mine are in accounts dating back to the time you were old enough to sign up for your first phone. Just like your driving licence. It dates back to the first day you passed the test. The new Facebook site has admitted that it's previous platform was easily accessible to anyone who had the ability, internally, or externally..access to personal messaging. Look it up.

Consent? How many times do you hear of data leakage? Hacking of health records, government records..etc? Why do you think other governments do this???

Once upon a time it was all hard copy...Spies had to be employed...yes...with secret cameras to copy sensitive information....but you seem to think this is fantasy. It wasn't.

Now..........all it takes is a person who has the ability to get around the "consent". Yup... other governments take notice of your 'consent'. You are so gullible :) You probably believe the Earth is flat too.

So funny. If I got you to sign a form you won't say the word fuck anymore. It's going to stop you from saying it if you had million dollar lawyers, or live in another nation...........hahahahaha Hilarious.

Yeah, about that. You're aware that on free websites, including this one, you're the product. Right? There's ads to make this whole gig profitable, since they're handing out gold memberships to whoever gets verified, something has to maintain the cost of all the dicks people post on this website. And that something is ads. Big deal.

When an online service is free, you are the product and advertisers are the client. You get a service without spending a cent for it, the website shows ads to pay the bills, and the advertisers show you stuff you're more likely to buy so that their employers, whoever hired them to put ads out there, get more people to buy their stuff. Trade complete, your wallet goes untouched unless you're interested in the personalized ads you got.

If you consent to have your navigation tracked, China doesn't care that you go on LPSG, the Australian government doesn't care either because once again you're not special, you'll just get ads that are picked out for you in consideration with the fact that sometimes you watch adult content on the internet. You don't like this personalization? Just switch off one setting for free and you'll see Cooking Mama instead.

Or maybe something that relates to the website you're on right now, so a sped up Men.com ad that gets changed for another video every 2 weeks.

PS:

I think third parties will agree that you're the most likely to believe that.

By the way, while singing the praises of your Fit-Bit....you never answered one day it may be able to access your DNA....Oh, thats right.....unless you tick the consent form it won't be allowed to.
I'd probably say "OK, weird, don't do that" and leave the box unticked. If the service isn't provided should I refuse, fuck them. You're still allowed to stay "no", you know. You said it sarcastically, but if you don't consent to it they really have no right to use it.

Your view is that all trade is fair.........It's not. Just as agreements in international trade are broken, so are privacy agreements...when they are...it's not the providers at fault.

Since when have you become so trustworthy of those you sign your private and most intimate information over to?

You have it right...We are the product. We are bought and sold, from the wholesaler right down to the retailer. Spot on.

I'm not talking about your "wallet" Ofcourse it remains untouched, as you say, because you have provided the onseller with all you have to offer, with the exception of your DNA...Do you not get that? Why would an invention be created to gather more information about you connected to a database with all your personal contact details on record? Why?

This website I have been on since 2004....Don't be fooled by the name change. Yes, I am a financial contributor which goes in some way to help keep the lights on. Yes...while doing that, my credit info to pay, comes up on my credit card, which can be traced by the banks back to the site.

But I don't care, because, I do have a big cock. Nothing to hide there. But, I'll never post a pic of my face with body.

The CCP will explore any weakness it can in Western society. Just like our governments explore theirs. In every thing you say, you convince me more, you believe once you sign a form, all will be forgotten. I find this so very funny it's dangerous.

Driving records are only supposed to go back 10 years.........until a friend of mine showed me records of my applying for my learners permit........40-45 years ago, and my driving history since that time. My Father got his licence in 1946...his records and driving history came up...he passed away 6 years ago...........so yeah. Believe what you want. Keep your Fit-Bit.

While contact details are used to improve the service so that you keep using it, the other non-contact information is used to satisfy advertisers (the clients of the free product) who are trying to increase the success rates of their ad campaigns with ads that are more and more relevant to people's interests. I'm fully aware that some default tracking settings take it to a level people aren't actually comfortable with, but you still have control over it so I'm fully comfortable with what AdSense knows about me. I actually wish it knew the essentials better, because I'm tired of seeing cam girl ads right before I jerk off to gay porn.

What makes me unafraid of tracking is the knowledge that I have control over it. Every few months, I even check my AdSense settings to remove whatever interest it incorrectly thinks I have, because I'm totally okay with relevant ads based on the tracking methods I allowed.

And does your bank care that you're spending money on an adult website? No, it doesn't. Even if your assigned bank worker is actually dying to know if you have a magnum dong or not.

The CCP will explore any weakness it can in Western society.
I think shame is a lot less of a thing in the West than it is in China. And if it thinks it'll get me with the fact that I watch gay porn, it's in for a surprise. You hear that, CCP? 5 demands, not one less! Carrie Lam is a cunt!

Let me put it this way........You are in the city, a little pissy. Call an Uber.

You get in..on the way to your destination you download your life story. The Uber driver is supposedly sworn to privacy with your story.

Why? Because they sign an agreement. And so do you when you hail or call one.

These days, an Uber, Cab, or Ola driver would be silly not to record all their fares. Why, their safety, and supposedly yours. But, when you get into one, do they tell you you are being recorded? No, because they don't have to.

Ok, what guarantee can you give all of what you have said is not passed on to others?

You seem to be under the belief the law, a piece of paper will protect you. Maybe, if you can afford the lawyers and the years.

A very slim line exists in which what is placed in writing will protect us.........all the time, every second it is crossed.

Yeah, the bank does not give a rats what you spend your money on.......until you default on a loan and they search your credit records as to where money which was meant to pay them has gone to wasteful adult sites. This is not from me.......this is well known fact.

You seem to be quite naive when it comes to the real world, credit and privacy arrangements.

This is the exact reason why I keep full control over the information I give out. Whatever I want to keep a secret will not come out of my mouth, I won't let people I don't trust hear any of them.

Should any of the agreements be broken, the consequences are severe.
There's a pretty good organization for consumers over here in France, thanks to them Google has to announce on the home page of many of their products that they were heavily fined and based on what violations (terms and conditions that were a bit too heavy-handed for our regulations and the terms weren't clear enough). And of course, they had to change their conditions accordingly, because over here we don't just slap on the wrists of multi-billion companies and call it a day.

Things aren't that bad when there's laws preventing legislators in charge of making regulations from receiving "donations" from lobbyists. Things aren't that bad when the country's extreme nutjobs are told to go fuck themselves instead of giving them a platform for them to be nutjobs even louder.
