that's especially true in the South. They can be a bit more aloof in the North, but they're rarely rude.


It must be said that North or South it really helps if you can speak a bit of Italian, and know some of the etiquette, on being invited to a lovely friendly family's house and having Mama's homemade pasta put in front of you, then asking for Ketchup and twizzling it up with a fork to stuff in your mouth isn't going to endear you :tongue:
