my service in yugoslavia aside, I personally have seen or heard first-hand of relatively few people actually killed with guns compared to those killed with other things - most not intended for any form of violent use. you can kill someone with a pair of cuffs and a sink full of water, but I don&#39;t see you demanding that we remove running water from our homes for the sake of safety.

Come on Dr. Rock. We should ban water. AFter all a man drank galons of it everyday increasing the amount each day until his kidneys failed and he died. He was trying to set the world record for drinking water. Yep, water should be a prescription only item. It can kill. It should be controlled to prevent this from happening again.

Imagine if America had never had guns, it was never in the constitution and the crime rate was low. Then the President announced that the constitution was to be changed, so that everyone had the right to own a gun. Could you imagine anyone in their right mind allowing that to go ahead?

Yes - but they weren&#39;t available in the small town that I grew up in or anywhere around it. But we did have gun-safety courses and I took one.
