What are the first things you notice when you first meet someone?

Reading through these posts, I realize (if I'm honest with myself), that when I first meet someone...the first thing I notice about them is all in comparison to me. Are they taller/shorter, fatter/thinner, male/female, older/younger...I guess that's called "sizing them up". Once that's done (which takes 1/16th of a second) then I might make a broad summation of their appearance based clothes or their personal presentation...but I'm likely too occupied with trying to figure out how to relate with them (what do they want from me, what do I want from them) to focus on specific details like eyes, teeth, nails, tits, or their dick (unless I meet someone with their dick out...which would be an entirely different (and new) experience.

I agree that I notice their height and their general appearance, but I focus on small things. Things that automatically tell me where they might fit in my life(and I answered the post thinking in terms of me meeting a guy only) Not meaning that if they didn't have some of those qualities I would be less interested there are just certain things that make me want to stand there and talk to a guy and certain things that don't.

Skin/complexion. I have empathy for those with blemishes and an almost overwhelming urge to see/touch/taste the perfect, creamy white skin of a brunette lass.
