Taltos by Anne Rice is the latest good book! (Loving the witch series...friend turned me on to it)

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness for latest bad book. It's the 2nd in a trilogy, started off strong but has turned into a sappy "I'm a strong sexy vampire and you're a cool witch with mysterious powers" type of thing


My favorite book?? Omg. I dunno. I'll go with House of Leaves! It changed my life. In fact, I'm just about to reread for the 3rd time

I'm gonna pick upbanne rice book on your recomendation......

Last good book....birds without wings.....Arab writers always have such poetic use of language

Last bad book....the girl with Dragon tattoo.....the trilogy started out good ....but by the second book....the main character... salander ....went from believable character to SUPERHERO....able to outsmart everyone....crack computer codes...and fight world class boxers

Like woah, dude. Have you read the 4th?? I bought it, the story was continued by another writer but I haven't read it yet.

Funny in a book I'm willing to suspend disbelief ....but it's gotta be consistent and at least obey they physical laws of the word of the book

Like I can accept flying dragons...but not tiny wing dragons that couldn't generate the lift to fly

Now if salander was like written that she's an alien from the planet kripton....or a Greek goddess....ok......but she's a person living in a normal world

I'm selling all my books to simplify, in advance, retirement. I assume I'll always have a computer and internet access. . . possibly, an error!

That would be a bit much it’s actually gun metal powder grey. The only mod I did was switch out the stock trigger.

I quit the NRA about a week after the Oklahoma City Bombing incident. After I read the motive for the domestic act or terrorism, I said OMG, they are just repeating the latest NRA news letter . I called in and canceled my membership that day, even though I was paid up for the entire year @EllieP

I just can't align me with their thought process or their politics.
I'll just keep on being a sane and safe gun owner, supporting gun control efforts.
But... no way in hell do i give up my AR-15. She's my new most favorite thing ever.

I actually joined the NRA, to get the free hat they offered with membership. My dad saw one and even thought it cost me 50 dollars it was worth it, as it was a gift. I would let my membership expire, then re-join, just so could get him another hat.

Now, back to the zombie preparations. just remember Zombies will come non stop. Eventually even the well armed will run out of bullets. Learn to wield a sword as a back up. Michonne is my hero
