What planet do you freaking live on, Close quarter engagement is the last place, you want to discharge a high capacity weapon, They shoot through walls, so any family member in any adjacent room may be hit. Close quarter needs a shorter weapon. Handgun or tactical shot gun.

The full auto or assault rifle may look for Arnold Schwarzenegger, in movies, but close up no way. That knock at your door, that is reality come to call, you may want to answer

I am out

But, yet, swat teams go in with assault weapons on full auto. Also, you may have to deal with a mob approaching your house. It is legally riskiy, but can be necessary.

What about when Trump appoints himself as President for life? Suddenly, the DEMs will wish that had military gear, ready to team-up with the National Guard or other breakaway units. Oh, yeah! It can't happen here!

The same could be said about you, ya know. With more validity I might add.

Why not mention these facts I am missing? I try to stick to substantive arguments.

I have seen no argument against the data presented of McVey's collusion with Philippine extremist Muslims.

The Clinton Administration wasn't interested because they were happy enough blaming the right-wing.

I currently don't have time for detailed conversation, just had to pull a drive by post in the moment.

I shall return.

No, I do not make snap decisions. I know what I read, I knew the facts I needed to form a rational decision. You skillfully dissect, paragraphs in a manner that PT Barnum would love, to place things to your advantage. You would rather blame Muslim influence rather than the person committing the crime . You type like a Trump Supporter, narrow minded never wrong and any crime of mass casualty must be the root cause of Muslims or Illegal Aliens

You deduced that McVey was influenced by NRA propaganda to attack a Federal Building? If you read about him, you would know he was influenced by all kinds of extremists far far to the right of the NRA! You think you know all the facts you need to know by reading one report of what he said? That's not jumping to a snap decision?

I did blame McVey. Do you think I believe taking money from Muslim extremists absolved him from the bombing?

You must be getting too used to arguing with knuckle draggers around here. Dissecting an argument is what you do if you are trying to be rational.

Sir, I thank you for dissecting my post into 3 separate, replies. Sadly I do not have as much free time as you do to reply in triplicate .

So, The books you refer to now, would not have been written days after the bombing, would they ? So how could they have any bearing on my actions, that were based on facts as presented in real time ? If I were a nut; and I am I would probably look for information on improvised bomb making from someone / some group who knew what they were doing. Considering that Muslim extremists has just previously detonated a truck bomb in NY, that was all over the news.

Gun wise, though I should not say gun, as only hand guns are guns. I live in NY ,but my people are from NC, people hunted to feed their families, firearms are just tools to a farmer, most are necessary. I grew up around firearms. They were never locked or put away, Firearms in gun racks in trucks, no big deal. A shot gun bu the front door, for home security, common practice. Open carry permits of hand guns as long as they were not concealed, no big deal.

To this I say, as a hunter, I and no one needs an automatic weapon to kill a deer or a rabbit. Part of the sport is your skill, so the animal has some chance of surviving. In fact among hunters of days gone by, you never shot a bird, rabbit, squirrel, in its nest. You made a noise or shook the nest to get it out. This gave the animal some chance of evasion . Not it is not how well, you can shoot, but how accurate your scope is calibrated and how many rounds of ammo can you shoot.

An AR - AK or what ever military weapon or high magazine hand gun has no place or need in civilian self defense. Leave them to law enforcement and military as they were intended. The world is changing, insanity is rising and is becoming common place. We just get over one massacre, then we hold our breath till he next one happens
Kinda sorta....I have said before...my interest is only in historical weapons....and hunting ...well for me it's often an antique blackpowder... So I definitely here you

However ar guns are rediculasly smooth...and have minimal kick for a high power round....also ergonomics make it comfortable for shooting.....soooooo that's what my girlfriend shoots with....the big old kick of a nosin nagant or 7mm Magnus has a lot less appeal to smaller people
