Anemones
50c each

Anemone coronaria is also known as the Poppy Anemone as it looks like a poppy with its saucer shaped flowers with dark centres. The lovely single De Caen and double St Brigid flowers are framed by ferny foliage. Successive planting to May will result in extra-long flowering.

Dutch Iris
$1 each

Dutch Iris (Bulbs) (Iris Hollandia). One the most graceful and loved spring flowers. Tall, strong, straight stems explode into exotic colourful orchid like flowers. Plant in large clumps for best effect. Long lasting, easy to grow and superb for cut flowers.

Sparaxis Mix
50c each

For an amazing display why not try Sparaxis or Harlequin flowers as they are known. They grow in wet winters and bloom in spring while temperatures are cool. They are frost tender so mulching during cold spells is recommended.
These flowers are highly ornamental, tri coloured ranging in colour from white to yellow and pink and easily naturalize under ideal growth conditions.

Daffodil Naturalising Mix
35c each

Daffodils are the easiest bulbs to naturalise. They can be left in the soil to multiply and flower year after year. An economical way to mass plant a large area with smaller grade bulbs at less than half the price. Some will flower this year and the rest will bulk up for next season. Many varieties included.

Freesias
$1 each

Famous for their intense colours and fragrance, these long blooming flowers on graceful stems are very rewarding to grow and ideal for picking. Their wide range of colours and alluring fragrances make them hard to resist.

Tulips
$1 each

Complete your spring garden with a glorious display of Tulips. They add beauty individually or in large groups, come in a rainbow of colours and a myriad of shapes and are so easy to grow. Tulips will naturalise well in regions that have mild spring conditions and cool to cold winters. To naturalise, they must be planted in a spot that receives summer shade and heat protection. In warmer regions Tulips should be treated as an annual. H40-50cm

Double Daffodil Mix
$1 each

The large majestic double blooms of these vibrant Daffodils will enhance any garden. They have multiple rings of petals or tufted cups full of frills. Sometimes they will have double trumpets, sometimes double petals and sometimes doubles of both. As a result, they may resemble carnations or even gardenias. rather than daffodils.

Red Nerines
$5 each

Although commercially grown for cut flowers, the glittering blooms of Nerine sarniensis are also ideal in home gardens. They like warm, dry areas but can be grown in sheltered areas or pots in cooler regions.

The Inverse Interview

One night, in the early 1980s, Nathan and David Zellner turned on an episode of In Search of… and discovered a new obsession. Leonard Nimoy’s supernatural-themed TV show had dedicated 22 minutes to Bigfoot, and the brothers couldn’t get enough. The pair grew up in Colorado loving the outdoors, taking family camping trips, and making movies in the woods. The idea of a local ape-like legend roaming the Pacific Northwest fascinated them.
“What’s interesting about Bigfoot is the way it represents the kind of gray area between human and animal behavior,” David tells Inverse. “We’re natural-born skeptics with everything, but we very much want to believe and understand the desire to believe.”
The Zellners’ persistent curiosity manifested into Sasquatch Sunset, their arresting new feature that explores the full wonder and interior nature of these magnificent furry creatures. Shot in the style of a nature documentary in Northern California’s misty forests, the movie follows a group of four Sasquatches over the course of a year.
