Hey, I want to know what you guys are eating! I used the search function, but according to the search results, most people are eating things that aren't nutritious enough to keep the body going (though lots of people are eating out a lot - I for one can't afford to eat out every other night, so I need some inspiration for regular home cooking). So forgive me if a similar thread already exists.

So what am I eating myself, you might ask? Okay, I'll tell you. Right now I'm eating ymer, which is a Danish sour milk product, sprinkled with rolled oats that I've fried in butter and a bit of sugar.

But enough about me. What are you eating?

I have wondered if making this thread was a good idea, but I never got around to starting it.
Unfortunately, my meals are extremely repetitive, so I won't be posting very much.
Just had my typical week day breakfast of 3 hard-boiled eggs, 3 mugs of coffee and lots of supplements.

I spend about 80% of my life following the Mediterranean diet for heart health - MayoClinic.com I have a couple of cookbooks that keep it from getting too mundane and repetitive. I don't really think of it as a diet I think of it as a culinary lifestyle choice. (diets sound so debilitating for some reason).
But weekends and holidays and festive occasions I enjoy a wider range of foods; many can be found discussed here.

Decided that today was a day of chicken fettuccine. Made some homemade sauce for it. After making that I also added some garlic bread. Crushed garlic, butter, basil and paprika spice on top of the french bread. So now that your hungry..you wanna come over for some and dessert??

Bacon and leek quiche with steamed carrots, broccoli and potatoes

Columbian blend coffee and toast. The bread is full of sunflower, walnut, and pumpkin seeds. When toasted it has a really good flavor. I use Brummel and Brown yogurt spread instead of butter or margarine to top it off. Maybe some raspberry preserves.
