I'm thinking about my life when I lived downtown, all my dealings with my silly ex, all the interesting people I met, the big optimism I used to have about the world before the tide of realism washed that all away through the failures of neoliberalism, climate change, depletion of natural resources through an unsustainable mode of production, and the impending sense of doom that in any instant it could all be gone. And all of this by the soundscape of Sade's, "Like a Tattoo". Those are my personal thoughts for the evening.
