They both look to have had the right idea, as far as their game plan. If Mac was gonna take him it was going to be with a game changer landing face side in the first 5 rounds. Floyd's execution has always been a strength, He just has some of the best defensive skill the sport has to offer at that weight class. Respectable career, and leaving now gives him a very genuine consideration for the best to ever fight in the sport. Seems like a more difficult distinction to be made across generations inside of an individual sport though, compared to say football, or baseball even. One thing is sure, love him or hate him, he never stayed down, not ever. Best boxer ever? I don't want to give him my vote, but he sure has had the best career.
