I had to re-watch it, too. And, then read about it and the whole plot's re-cap. I admit that it was confusing and convoluted, but I still enjoyed the show. I hope that "True Detectives" won't be cancelled just because so many people loved to hate the second season of it.

Well, what I DON'T watch anymore is Master Chef. Stopped watching weeks ago. Seems to ME (meaning, IMO) the judges coach, coax, and coddle certain favorite contestants of theirs while slamming others on attitude and "rolling their eyes" at the opposition. gmafb.

What we HAVE been watching, among other shows, is a rather excellent little gem (IMO) called Extant starring Halle Berry.

It got off to a somewhat slow start, season one but then toward the end of that run, suddenly "blew up" (no pun intended) into some pretty intriguing plot twists. This season, nary an episode where something major didn't happen, (unlike some series that seem to idly fester under some... ahem.... "dome").
