What a load of crap. So much teenage angst. So much the gnashing of teeth.
"OH! He loves me!"
"Oh, this isn't right! We must break up!"
"Oh, I must sacrifice myself to save this ancient vampire with a daylight ring!"
"No! I'll save you. I'll sacrifice myself! I love you!"
Every damned episode, ad nauseum.
I get the feeling it's target audience are actually undiscerning teens who
seem to love this Twilight fan fiction.

I so much prefer The Originals. Better, grittier plots. Better acting.
