I could get into curling when properly motivated. Damn.

I am.currently watching Gold Rush on the DVR. Parker vs. Beets. I now understand why Parker has kinda been a dick.

David Letterman is doing extended interviews on NETFLIX. Right now one a month is released. The first, which is still available is with President Obama. It was a warm, friendly conversation. The second, with George Clooney was quite interesting in terms of his charitable work, especially with Syrian refugees. It was genuinely moving and a bit of a surprise.

I highly recommend it.
Haven't seen those yet. Speaking of Netflix, here's my list of recommended viewing:

If you
like super heroes: Marvel's Punisher, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Defenders, Iron Fists.

A nicely done sequel to CTHD, Sword of Destiny.
The Sherlock series (starring Cumberbatch).
Penny Dreadful.
Stranger Things 1 & 2
(of course).
The Cloverfield Paradox.

And Altered Carbon.

... btw, anyone else notice how the opening credits for Netflix's "originals" look like they're done by the same company? Prolly did HBO's Westworld as well?

Excellent list - I've got Stranger Things and Altered Carbon on my list, just finished Berlin Babylon which was amazing! Set in late 20's Berlin it is a political / crime / period study that is among the most detailed and lush productions I've seen Music is splendid, acting it also. Clever plotting. Loved it. Also Peaky Blinders continues to be excellent. Netflix, for me delivers the best bang for my entertainment buck.

Hmmmmm.... Crime dramas aren't my cup-o-tea (the Missus watches one or two of 'em)... the only one I'll watch is NCIS New Orleans because its backdrop is right here in the "Big Easy.
"

Looking forward though to the next season of Westworld on HBO.

Yep, have to agree tne Netflix originals and other offerings have made it worth the ten bucks a month. We get Amazon's movies via a Prime account as well, but we almost never watch anything on it.

Black Mass... the boy did something with the remote before he went to bed. I am drowning out Johnny Depp with New Orleans music.
