Added to my Hulu Queue. Thanks as always.
You might like Pose, as well. It’s on FX. It’s about the trans community in the 80’s during the AIDS crisis. Really engaging characters. Might take a couple of episodes to get into it, but it’s pretty good.

The Last Defense. Scary how many innocent people are sitting on death row.

Watched this btw. It was both terribly sad, and also terribly unsurprising :( There's been a lot of critical review of guilty convictions lately that's turned up nothing pleasant.

Cameron Todd Willingham - Wikipedia

What we refer to as the US justice system has little interest in actual justice, just convictions.

"The confession tapes" is another good watch. It doesn't so clearly propose whether the people involved are innocent or guilty, but it does lay bare what an absolute shitfest the methodologies behind trying to secure a confession are.

I agree. It’s pretty much the same in Canada, but we have no death penalty. There is no justice in the legal system unless it’s by accident.

I did watch the Confession Tapes. Pretty horrifying. In the UK they take confessions in a completely different way, without coercive tactics and while they still get confessions, there are virtually no false confessions.
