A BBC show There She Goes. It is about a family dealing with having a mentally disabled child. The topic is one that would typically push me away but I couldn't stop watching and binged the series in a night (only 5 or 6 episodes for what it's worth). It's hard to explain what makes it so watchable as it can be awkward in the way a Larry David confrontation can in Curb Your Enthusiasm. I will say it feels like a very true depiction of how life-altering having a child with disabilities can be; much more so than Parenthood ever did (shoutout to any Parenthood fans out there).
