People assume that I'm straight, because I don't "act" gay. We all know the stereotypical signs...the gay lisp, the bold colored clothes, feminine-styled walk, overuse of the word "honey"...I don't have any of those attributes, so people assume I must be straight, when I'm actually as gay as they come. Gay men also assume that because I'm black, I'm only attracted to other black guys (gay thugs no less), when in reality I'm more attracted to white guys...and white guys think that because I'm black (and from the South), I must be a big fan of thug talk, so they use it when talking to me.....seriously?
