Instead of mentioning the cars that you currently drive or have owned in the past, what about the automobiles you would own if you had all the money necessary to purchase and maintain them?

Pretend you are Bill Gates' long lost realtive and you can spend any amount you want on anything available, new or old.

My list would include:

Chevy SSR
BMW Z-3
Tucker '48
1957 Chevy Belair convertible
1959 Cadillac convertible
A Delorean
1932 Ford Model A
An antique fire engine
one of those DUKWs (drive to the beach and keep going!)

I'm sure I'd add a few dozen more to the collection.

OK Dr. Rock,

I'm opening this topic up to include vehicles with any number of wheels, and vehicles without wheels at all!

I'll take an airship too!

Hmmm, okay... my list is pretty short, but here we go...

1967 Ford Mustang, convertible of course
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hispano-Suiza 32
Peugeot 405 (heard it being described as "best mainstream car ever built")
Citroen MS

Do I have something for european cars? Driving one, and desiring 3 others? Can someone call in a psychodoctor to analyze me?

Unquestionably, this one...

But on the other hand...

I'm a big fan of the Lincoln brand, which mainly makes drab luxobarges, but occasionally comes through with a stunner in the classic American style.

Like the suicide back door sedans and convertibles from the 60s

Some of the recent concept cars have a satisfying slickness to them:

Get a load of this dash.

And a car with a hardwood floor? I want one.

I own a Series II Land Rover Discovery, and you know what? I don't think I'd change it for a new one. There's just something pleasingly odd about the shape of mid-90s Discos that's been lost with the new model.

BTW, thanks to SGOT for putting us on to the Ultimat Car Page. Great website.

Now I'll end up spending all day looking at ultimatecarpage.com

I have driven a Duesenberg. It was, at the all same time, exhilirating, scary and very, very difficult. Exhilirating is obvious...I kept thinking "This car is worth almost seven figures, what if I bend it?" Thankfully I did not, but that thought gnawing at me took away a lot of the exhiliration. The difficulty comes from the lack of power steering and brakes in a car that weighed close to 5,000 pounds that just begged to be driven fast.

As good as sex? Pretty close.

a hybrid Toyota Tacoma, Camry or RAV-4.

with gasoline at nearly $3 a gallon, our polar icecaps melting, and the earth's motor monsters thinking its all good, this is our best defense against the excesses of our time.

To hell with Ford, GM and Chrysler! :puke:

Lets not forget that you grew up on AMERICAN SOIL and AMERICAN PRODUCTS.
Dont bite the hand that fed you.

If you want to fix problems in your own country, stop buyin foreign rollerskates, and contribute to your country.

The big 3 Dont think everything is "Good"

Its BUSH ECONOMICS that is saying "Everything is good"

Heres my list of cars that im working on collecting.

1969 Pontiac Trans Am
1974 Pontiac Trans Am SD455 w/Muncie
1978 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 SE
I already own the 2002 TA WS6.

1970 Hurst Oldsmobile 442 W-30
1987 Hurst Olds 442 W/T's - actively looking

1969 ZL1 Chevy Camaro

1970, 71 426 Hemi Cuda

1987 Buick Grand National or GNX

No Fords for me. Theyre just not safe vehicles.

I think im the only Gay guy in the world that enjoys these automobiles for what they are, and the ability to name off options and RPO codes when shopping for them.

Any guys in the southern or soutwestern states, know of any of the above list, PM me, and I'll come out and Visit.
