quick facts, I'm 55 yo, married, straight, had very active sex life b/4 getting married and after. the last few months I noticed and my wife did to, that my cum has got a slight yellow color or brown tint to it. should I be concerned??? I'm in good physical shape, not overweight, exercise daily, my unit still works(stands and spits, no viagra). I retired a year ago, quit drinking coffee, and don't smoke cigs as much as I did. I smoke about 3-4 cigs a day. the exception is if I start drinking, i do go out 3 times a week and have few beers and shoot pool. my wife had her plumbing removed a few yrs ago, so her sex drive doesn't match mine, but she accomodates me with nice BJ's and jerking me off. that's how she noticed it. anyone else with similiar experience???? no prostrate problems in my family.

A brown tint could be further up from a bleeding in your digestive system As you know blood turns from red to brown. There may be a bleeding in your esophagus or just past your throat or maybe even cancer. If you're worried then check to a doctor and have them do a urine sample test.

normally is white or greyish white but when i dont do anything for a while and finally i do it comes out thicker and yellowish

Buried in another thread on this or some other site is the information that it is common for your cum to be yellowish if you don't cum regularly. This has happened to me in the past. Have sex or JO every couple days and it should get nice and white again. If not, there might be something else going on, I've noticed a change in color after I had a bad bout of the flu, and I'm sure other condition can also cause it.

Now, brown or certainly red I'd be certainly be concerned about.

Your best advice is to see a medical doctor, a urologist is the specialist who can evaluate your ejaculate. There is a normal range of color variations but outside the norm is what you are asking about. With a urologist you will have the benefit of lots of years of academic training, internships, continuing education and experience. It is likely the doctor will take a sample for laboratory analysis to check for the presence of markers that might indicate something is out of whack. So by resolving the ambiguity your anxiety will go away and you can either treat the problem if there is one or forget about it.

Ejaculate has a lot of substances within it but the greatest of these would be water, followed by the amino acid L-Arginine. It is the L-A that gives ejaculate its characteristic aroma. Be sure you are fully hydrated [using water only preferably, not coffee, beer, wine, etc]. You may have noticed that sometimes cum looks white and not clear, then as it is on your cock or outside your body it turns clear and thin. The white appearance that turns clear is caused by the gas form of the sex hormone nitric oxide or NO for short. Outside your body it goes off into the air.

Ejaculate doesn't come from the digestive tract as suggested in one of the posts so don't be too concerned about that.

See your doctor and stop worrying. You are likely very OK.
