What Compels You to View/Post in the Gallery?

Although I have been a member here for awhile and thought about posting my pics, I just never got around to it but finally decided to do so. I am a pretty well built, amply endowed, decent looking guy (although I don't have any face shots posted), but Wow!, has my ego taken a bruising. No one has said anything negative about my photos, in fact only positive feedback, but when I see someone's photo that's been up a couple of weeks and they have three times the "hits" on their picture than mine, hey, I will admit it, I get a little jealous :biggrin1:. So just wondering, what compels you to view someone's photo or to just pass it up or to add a comment? Is it familiarity with the person who has posted the pics, a long, big, huge dick or oddly shaped one? Just curious.

As for the hits to your pics, i update my gallery several times a week and i can tell you it has a lot to do with what time of day or evening you post pics. Sometimes you wake up and see you are on page 2 of the gallery and other days you'll be only 12 pics over from the newest.

I think we all look for the number of hits and comments we get. I try to week out those pics that dont get much of either and replace them with some that might generate more response.

With one exception I can think of, I only ever click on a person's gallery when they post and something in the post makes me want to look at the pics (or maybe that someone else has said about them). Even then I only leave comments occasionally.

Do the people with higher comment counts have high post counts too? Or maybe they are in chat a lot (I dunno - I don't use chat here).

Uhg! After I posted, I was afraid that many would think that was exactly why I posted in the first place. Really, I am just curious as to what makes a good gallery or what makes someone click on certain photos. Is it the cock pic, the lighting, the person posting? I think it's funny how photos posted by different members on roughly the same day have such varied number counts. And of course, there's Monster who's in a league of his own. He can post a picture, say today, and have over a thousand hits by this same time tomorrow! :wink:

That's exactly the routine I have.

I only signed up to LPSG this past week, and posted some photos because;
a) I love showing off, and
b) I thought it would be rude not to, given all the effort that other people go to ;-)

But I couldn't tell you if people have commented on them, and whether it's positive or negative. That's not why I posted them and will continue to add to them (see (a) above).

I did it to help myself feel less embarrassed. If I was here to better understand what being hung was about, I felt that I needed to contribute what I had even if it doesn't qualify as LPSG material. If others could do it then so could I. If they were being honest, at least most of them, then so I had to be too.

Sometimes it's hard that other persons get more comments and views on their pics then others. I can't complain, but sometimes I wanna be that much viewed as the other person (= AD), but yeah jealousy doesn't solve anything so I must be happy with the views I got.
