I have just packed off our holiday dinner with my brother to take over to his house where we will be eating in a little while. This year we have holiday redux. Because... my mother is in a snit because my aunt did not OFFICIALLY invite us to their home for Christmas dinner. My mother then informed me that we would be eating dinner just between the three of us. Which meant I would have to do the entire dinner this year. My mother sees holiday meals in Dickensian Spirit of Christmas past proportions. I had to do a redux version since I have not been home at all this holiday and will be returning to produce my holiday show tommorrow. That being said , here is the menu.

Snow flake rolls
sweet potato casserole
Green bean casserole
Cornbread stuffing
Roasted Chicken
Smoked Smithfield Country Ham
Fresh Kale
Caramel Apple Pie
Lemon Coconut Pie
Spiced cider
Egg Nog
Cranberry punch

Not the extended family spread but enough for three! Share you holiday spreads that will make you spread and family holiday horrors to match the Christmas Carol...

Awesome menu naughty...have you been overdosing on the Food Network? I don't even know what snowflake rolls are, but they sound good.

I will be having Honey Bunches of Oats cereal with cold milk.

I done ate me a cheeeeeeeeeeeseburger. .86 pounds of pure beef, quarter pound of mozarella, 2 large onions sauteed in the gratifying fat left from the half pound (prior to cooking) of bacon. Odds are I will be at the ER of the local hospital shortly having my arteries declogged, if not, I still have a pecan pie waiting for me.

Oh, and a pot of coffee which I drank black, no sugar.

Kept it simple this year as it's just me here. Did some cleaning, defrosted the freezer and made simple pork chops, corn, stuffing and a few breskis. I also had some chocolate that Nick8 gave me for my birthday. Tnite I'll be listing on Ebay and enjoying the quiet w/some great 50's music.
