Last night I was doing some spring cleaning and came across a box of old stuff, pictures, ticket stubs, mementos, and my varsity letters. Talk about a tidal wave of happy memories!

I lettered in Choir and Flag Twirling (tall flags)

So, how many of you lettered in high school? In what activity did you letter?

At my school, they only awarded letters in athletics.

My honors and awards were in music and general academics.

We get awards in Canada, but I "lettered" in track, choir, drama, volleyball, badminton and debate.

Don't be too impressed though, it was a small school:redface:

I lettered in nothing. But if I had to make up something, I would say I lettered in note-writing during class.

Football, swimming, diving, Lincoln/Douglas debate, and Future Problem Solving.

At least, those were the ones represented on my jacket. People from my school might tell you I lettered in the Drill Team, too...just not in the manner they gave patches for.

Only athletics got letters at my school, but they include marching band/cheerleading in that. I lettered in XC (dual sported one fall, it sucked), Soccer all 4 years, Swimming (did it one year, not my favorite), and Track all 4.

Glad to be done with coaches and organization. Now I can do local races and soccer tournaments with friends whenever I want, not when I have to.

Cross country and track. It was a start on learning how to be social, before that all I had was a pocket protector and a slide rule.
