When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
How close is your current profession to that ideal?

My greatest desire was to be a cold-blooded killer...When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Teacher, chemistry scientist, author, pastor, veterinarian, gynocologist of the stars!
Teaching seems to fall into that catergory, I suppose... but I can't wear tights, and I'm OBviously not fighting supervillians.
*sigh*
Wait till you're teaching junior high.

I was going to say wait until you go into Education Administration!
I love firemen, they always cum when called. :wink:I wanted to be a fireman. Seriously. But I ended up creating and owning my own businesses. But if I want a fireman, I bet I can find one.
Darlin', being certifiable and being registered are two completely different things. :lmao:I always wanted to be an architect. Today, I'm not registered, but I'm pretty close to the field.
I wanted to be a boxing referee because I thought that was what my dad did. Turns out he was a Deputy EEO Officer for the Navy. Talk about disappointing.:redface: I also wanted to be a ballerina, model in a Blackglama Mink ad, and a stay at home mom. I'd still give my eye teeth to be the latter. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Hmm, I have no sense of rhythm and stopped ballet lessons at 11. Though currently unemployed, I have held over 35 different jobs in my life including Bridal Show Model, Polymer Chemistry Teacher for grades 2-12, Retail Manager, Receptionist, Professional Development Specialist, Office Manager, Lifeguard, Food Service Manager, Curator of Education for a historical association and many others. How close is your current profession to that ideal?
When I was a child I wanted to be the POPE! Closest I've come is that I own a pair of red shoes.
:biggrin1: You just liked the gaudy robes, hats, and being surrounded by hot, willing, Italian men. OMG! I want to be Pope too. :wink:When I was a child I wanted to be the POPE! Closest I've come is that I own a pair of red shoes.
Except there is that VOW OF CHASTITY thing........that's a dealbreaker.:biggrin1: You just liked the gaudy robes, hats, and being surrounded by hot, willing, Italian men. OMG! I want to be Pope too.
