I think I have to disagree on this one Jon. We make judgements on who we are going to date on superficial traits all the time. Who doesn't have preferences regarding hair color or length? Eye color? Skin color? I know that someone being shorter than me is a deal breaker - yet that is superficial. I don't feel bad about that at all - I only date men taller than I am (not asking too much here - I am only 5'3) I prefer to date caucasians - not that I don't find other ethinicities attractive (I very much do) but I believe that we don't have relationships in isolation - but in groups (meaning, whole families are affected by who we choose to be with) I choose to be with other people who are of European decent because of this. Sound superficial? I suppose it is - but it's still something of a deal breaker for me.

Sure, things change over time. I would only choose to be with someone who is healthy and takes care of themselves - but if something happens down the road I won't desert them because they are no longer healthy.

The bottom line is that it's better to be with someone you are crazy about than someone you can merely tolerate. Sometimes it's those things about us that we have no control over that pushes how someone else feels about us over the edge - it isn't BAD, it just IS.

I understand what you ar saying. As I mentioned b4 in other threads, I am at a point in life where I have no time for a serious, loving relationship. I'm 19, I have just enough time to do what I need for my brother and me to survive, and any remaining time is for pure, unadulterated FUN (i.e., fucking guys with big cocks)

It sounds to me that you have a realistic idea of your life just now, and at the end of the day if someone is upfront with how they see things another person can&#39;t really complain all that much, they know the score before they get involved.

I&#39;m sure you will meet someone you really want to be with, at 19y/o your not exactly to old.. yet , when it happens it happens and just enjoy life till that day comes, then your married off for life .
