Great photo, but I hope you're not teaching him/her to partake of beer or white wine. I had a lovely bull mastiff named (not by me), Alexandra. She was a year old when I got her and she weighed in at 135 lbs. The Frat boys who decided they didn't want her any more (they were to lazy to care for the enormous piles of thrice-daily dog blast and dead spots on their lawn) had taught her to enjoy alcoholic beverages (just beer and wine). I changed her name to Boombah or, more appropriately, The Boombah, and became the recipient of relentless underserved love. Although I did love her very much.
She had two party tricks: 1 suck down as many unattended glasses of chablis that she could, and 2 cover everything within her reach with the same amount of slobber. After parties she was obviously hung over and in terrible pain the next mornings. It took a lot of "being a good parent" to keep friends and visitors from getting her drunk.
But that's a fine puppy you have there. Remember, if it's half Australian Shepherd and half Golden Retriever it going to need two jobs. All dogs need jobs. But shepherds and retrievers are especially career oriented.
