What do you "miss" most in porn?

I actually wrote a post about this when I was new to LPSG. I went to look at it to see if my tastes have changed from being on LPSG for a year. Nope, still the same!

Ah, well in that case, let me tell you what my pet peeves are!

If one aspect is especially good, I can overlook some of the other ones, so this is just a general guideline, not absolute rules:


Pet Peeves:
1. If the camera-work and "sexyface" acting make me feel like I'm a third person in a room with two people fucking. Example, they're doing it doggy style and the camera is facing her. Instead of looking at the man with his penis in her and looking sexy at him, she looks straight in front of her, into the camera, and she makes "sexyface" that seems to be completely unrelated to the actions of the man with his penis in her. 2. If the guy isn't enjoyable to look at. Oh so many pornos with this issue. Men with tits. Men with beer bellies. Men with questionable hair. I've date men who are less than physically perfect and they had qualities that made me desire them, but I don't want to watch men I'm not attracted to in a porno.

3. Really Fake orgasms. Fake screaming. Fake dirty talking. Non-stop nonsensical fake sounding noises. Faking in general. If you can't act well enough to sell it, don't fake it.

4. Boredom. Maybe this is why they try faking it.

5. Not enjoying it. I can tell if she doesn't like his hands or his cock or his technique and it's a turn-off. There are a few pornos where I can tell that he's good at fucking, his got great hands, and I want to have sex with him. Turn-on!


Turn-ons:
1. Real enthusiasm
2. Real orgasms, or at least realistic fake orgasms
3. No acting, acting well enough that I'm not aware of the acting
4. Muscular/fit/young/hot actors

A lot of the reason why I enjoy gay porn and kinky porn is because there's less of my pet peeves and more of my turn-ons in them. I'm not into a lot of kinks myself, but the participants seem to enjoy their kinks so much that I get off on their enjoyment. I'm not into muted lighting either and I honestly don't think I've ever seen porn with a storyline, other than a scene setup that precedes the sex. Some amateur porn looks realistic to me.

I wonder sometimes how big the effect of porn is on how people look at sex. I remember being totally completely grossed out the first time I saw anal in porn. Now I still press "forward" when I'm watching a porn and there's an anal scene in it. Didn't really change how I feel about it, but I did get used to the idea of anal in porn.

Actually, I'm not sure whether it makes it easier or harder. I just know what I enjoy, and if the porn is overall really sexy, then the inclusion of a few pet peeves won't turn me off. In other words, I'm very opinionated about how a porno could be better, but my sex drive is robust enough that despite how flawed some porn is, I can still get off.

I think on average, guys are probably a little more visual stimulated than women.

Hmmm... I get what you mean. In a way, lpsg made me less innocent. I'm less shocked or surprised about the things guys sometimes send in PMs or requests I get. (And generally just ignore the "weirdos" now.) I'm not sure if that's a good thing.

Just another thought to throw out there: I think we may see a renaissance with sexuality including pornography and erotica due to the internet.
