What do you think about condoms in adult movies?

When they fit the condoms correctly I'm indifferent but many pornstars try to make it invisible by rolling it down the minimum amount possible to make sure that the condom doesn't catch the money shot, which I suppose, isn't so exciting to watch.

Personally, I believe that sex without a condom looks better. It looks more natural, like there is actual physical contact. You can't feel the physical contact the pornstar has (I'd wish) so you have to imagine it by watching. So if you see a condom, your image get's ruined.

But I think that it's a good thing that they use condoms. Condoms should become more and more normal, and this can be promoted by the use of condoms in porn.

If from now on every male pornstar would use a condom, future kids would consider condoms as highly normal and use condoms more often!

I think that seeing a condom shows a respect for your models, a respect for your viewers, and a generally positive ethic.

I prefer it, because it comforts me. It makes me think that these people might actually care about each other's life and health, instead of just seeing them as sex object whose health is secondary.

I think that porn featuring condoms shows a good example to its viewers. We all know that entertainment always doubles as education, and in light of the serious lack of sex education our children receive in schools, they will get their sex education from the porn they see on the web. If they see sex without condoms, then that's what they're gonna do. And then they'll catch lifelong diseases or become teenage parents.

Don't tell me porn is a fantasy. It's a life for the people involved in it, and it's an example for the people watching it. Porn without a condom constantly distracts me with thoughts of all the diseases that person is catching, either right now on screen or in their private life, and that they simply don't care enough about their partner or themselves. None of that is erotic to me.

Frankly, anyone who thinks that an orgasm is more important than their very life, gets no respect from me.

and really, why the hell wouldn't you use them? They cost a matter of pennies, they are a tiny piece of latex or whatever other material. Is that really such a hassle? Is your life not worth that much?

So many things wrong with this post. The reason that women and gay bottoms may be more in favor of condom use is that they are both at a much greater risk of contracting the HIV virus and other STDs than their partners are. And your statement that "they couldn't keep it up to top anyway" fully displays your sexual ignorance.

As far as what I think of condoms in sex scenes, they neither turn me off or comfort me in pro scenes. However, when I'm watching amatuer porn it does weird me out to watch whats posted as a random hook up, or a threesome with a friend happen if there isn't some sort of protection used.

That's one of the most dispicable things I've ever heard. Nobody owes you anything. They are doing you a favour and putting their own lives at risk for two minutes of a complete stranger's pleasure. How dare you think they owe you anything? Jeez.

The welder (or sex performer) shouldn't take the job if he or she is uncomfortable with the requirements.

No one's forcing anyone to have unprotected sex on video. There are plenty of other jobs to choose from, if one is uncomfortable with the job requirements.

I have the opposite reaction. It is a huge turn off to not see a condom used (unless it is lesbian porn LOL). The risky behavior just makes me want to scream at the screen saying, "That's dangerous you idiots!" If it is amateur porn between two monogamous lovers, perhaps that's different.

Secondly, it is important that the porn industry lead by example. A ton of STD's get passed on because people don't use condoms. Seeing it universally used in porn might help the situation by making it seem just a normal part of sex. I'd hate to see a couple of young teenagers not use a condom because the porn they've seen (and how they tend to model their own sexual behavior) hasn't modeled it for them. Remember with the Internet, a lot of kids are first exposed to sex through porn. And yes I normally hate the "But what about the children?" arguments, but this is one time I have to go against my nature.
