Nothing seems to be good enough for some straight men in this section of LPSG. The questions aren't right; the answers aren't right. I see that type of response and general Karenism in nearly every Ask a Straight Guy thread.

So, tell us the question you DO want to be asked — that you think is OK to ask — and then answer it.

I don’t know why people complain. It’s a forum about penises and the thread is ask a straight man. What do they expect to be asked? What did you have for dinner?
I’m always happy answering questions about sex, dicks, whatever people want. Yes some of them are repetitive but so what?

The “Karenism” as you put it I think stems from the continual train of leading questions that try to put straight guys in gay scenarios…
There’s a whole realm of questions you could ask straight guys about their experiences, experiences that someone like yourself who identifies as gay may not have had… vaginal penetration, certain fantasies, it doesn’t have to always be focussed on “if a lad checked you out in the locker room what would you do”

Fair enough. Maybe women want to know about that stuff from a male perspective. Not sure why I would care about "vaginal penetration." Gay men have been inundated by the same mainstream books and media as everyone else in the culture, so we already have a pretty good idea about the vanilla hetero basics.

It’s a question of balance… and those were just examples. After all you are “asking a straight man” ….. and sometimes you’ve just gotta accept that what it says on the tin… is in the tin… the continual trying to get straight men to answer questions centred around fantasies that particularly appeal to gay men doesn’t really cut it

bored of the vanilla Herero basics?

mask is about the deeply kinky shit then we love talking about that too

In all my years here, I think I have read 2 or 3 postings in the Ask A Gay Man Threads. I am trying to remember if I have ever posted a question there . However that aside , labeling members Karnes ; or karen like , probably will not win you any popularity contests.

You are a 2021, member ( welcome by the way ). You have no idea the repetitious , single minded tripe that has passes through this section over the years

Have you any idea how many :

If I give my friend a few beers, and them put on porn , do you think he would he like to JO with me
If I gave my friend a few beers and put on porn, do yo think he would let me suck him

If my friend came over and I intentionally got him drunk, would it be OK. if :
I sucked him off
I got into bed with him
My friend came over and slept over, he had morning wood, so he must have wanted me to >>>

How much money would it take for you to have sex with a man
How desperate / hard up would you have to be , to allow a guy to blow you
If you were in distress, and needed a ride to save your life, would you let someone blow you

Factor in the 500 Gym Locker postings :

Guy walks from the shower with a boner do you / would you / have you ever
Guy showering and has a Boner
Guy jerking off in the shower, and yes he has a boner
I just like being naked in the locker room / I do not care who sees me
I never actually exercise, I just hang out in the locker room to cruse

Would it offend you if :
A guy grabbed your dick
A guy looked at you at the urinal
How many seconds is Ok to be looked at the urinal, before you get pissed off
A guy stood way back from the urinal, in case you wanted to get a better look
A guy was jerking off in the public Bathroom

Throw in the real, bottom of the fishing barrel, any post that starts with family / father / Brother/ Cousin, that rapidly evolves into WTF am I reading

ETC >>>>
ETC >>>>

But to answer the OP. Hell ask about cars, yard work, my girlfriend / wife is a pain in my ass; but I love her with all my heart - what do I do to keep her , Home Depo - LOWES, Butts - Breasts , hell Butts and breasts you saw at Home Depo - Lowes

Remember that every question , need not receive an answer; and when answers are tendered, they often are not what the OP wants to read

I did not check my spelling; or grammar

Why would gay men want to ask about Home Depot and all that basic (in all senses of the word), dull straight-guy stuff?

I just had an insight, which makes sense to me. You all want to be asked questions by women, or the sort of stuff women would ask. But this site's users are, with relatively few exceptions, not women. So there will probably always be a mismatch there. It makes sense now.

Not at all….. your homing in on one small area of the forums and not looking at the bigger picture.

Most of us would answer questions from anyone, doesn’t have to be women. The point is that the continual barrage of “Would you let a guy fuck you for £1m / if a bloke in the shower offered to nosh you off would you let him” type questions…. Is less about whether you are genuinely interested and more about feeding delusional fantasises for sexual gratification… that’s certainly how it comes acorss

there are plenty of other areas in the forums to play out those fantasies should you wish

I wish that most questions asked here could be transferred to the "Ask a Bisexual Man" forum.

I also wish that only 99.5%+ straight men could answer the questions here. 95% of this website are just gay men asking gay questions, expecting to hear a gay answer and answering their own questions with their gay fantasies.

The group is for asking straight men, but anyone can ask, not just gay men. Maybe you are right, it is more interesting to reply about sex-related questions to a person that one can percieve as sexually attractive.
Maybe the fact that LPSG community is very much gay-oriented can be frustrating for some (I would rather like to have the attention of women than of men), but if you are an LPSG user, after two weeks or so, you have to accept it as it is or leave.

As someone said, the "problem" is repetitiveness... I don't know why there is no guide post as there is in "ask a woman", to maybe avoid part of that repetition.

But, any way, going back to the point of this threat:

I would prefer to answer questions than come out of curiosity. It could be other straight men that want to compare their own situation with others, it could be gay men that are curious about how do we interact with women, it could be women that want to know why straight men have certain expectations... I don't know!

You are clearly not reading the answers given, what is the point of asking a question when you ignore the answers or twist them for your own needs?

How about some interesting questions that don't involve asking us if we'd fuck gay dudes. Respectfully, you should already know the answer.

What about questions on clothing? Working out?

Not everything has to revolve around sex even though we're on a sex positive forum. I can't speak for others but it would be a nice change of pace instead of someone asking for the 1000th time if i would suck a friend's cock

The clothes I like are the ones I wear the majority of the time. Since I live in a clime where it's summer at least 10 months out of the year, my attire mostly consists of cargo shorts and a t-shirt, sometimes plain...sometimes one with a geeky or humorous design fitting my personality. This is also the same ensemble I wear to the gym as I rarely change there (sorry to disappoint any LPSG locker room voyeurs). In the few cooler times or when I go somewhere a little more formal, I'll swap out the shorts for a pair of jeans with a relaxed fit as the tight ones that show bulge I used to reserve for swing parties.

The one outfit I rarely wear and hate is any kind of formalwear. Dress shirts and barbaric neck strangling ties are strictly for when someone gets married, dies or I need to look for another job. The irony being that my wife thinks I look damned good dressed up and while I somewhat agree, I still find it uncomfortable.
I am a very casual dress person.
