Well we all know the car stereotypes little-dicked men get labeled with. I could see my big-dicked man driving all sorts of cars--butch wheels aren't required (although done right they can certainly be sexy).

I'm partial to station wagons. And old Saabs. Ever notice cute guys drive Saabs? Check it out sometime.

For what it's worth, I drive an 88 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (woody).

So true

You beat me to it. My super-hung dream guy would drive a lime-green Yugo - with the bumper duct-taped on.

hell yeah, reverse compensation. Something about a man in a Yugo that just screams, "I'VE GOT A HUGE SCHLONG. And I don't give a fuck what I drive because of it."

Doesn't anyone drive sports cars anymore? Don't any women want a guy that can handle the power of a RWD sports car?<.>[\quote]

Why should I?

My fun ride, unfortunately at the moment parked in a garage two miles or so away from my home, is a 67 Mustang fastback, with the 390 CI V-8 engine (~320 HP). And I can handle it, until about a year ago that was my main ride, but the consumption was seriously nagging at my bank account.

Still I find it sexy if a guy has a big car, as long as it's not the only big thing about him. The only car brand I don't like is Mercedes, which is a little too much old guy in my book.

Definitely the best response. :biggrin1:

I'm the antithesis of a car snob. I know some people appreciate beautiful vehicles the way I appreciate beautiful scenery, but to me, personally, a car should be reliable, safe, get you from one place to another in relative comfort, and the payments/maintenance should be well within your means.

I'm far more turned on by a sensible man than by one who drives something ostentatious (unless he can afford it). But I'm also not attracted to money, per se. I grew up with money, and I know it can't buy happiness.

Ah, my Holly dolly! You and I think alike. That's the whole point of my previous post. There are some things I like about one vehicle, some things I like about another vehicle. The Yugo was just my antithesis comment. Personally, safe, reliable, and relatively gentle environmentally is plenty for me. Spending $45,000 on a gas-guzzling SUV just to "make a statement" while commuting to and from work (to me) is screaming "I'M STUPID AND INSECURE!"

After decades of Japanese cars, I've gone back to American cars. I have a Mustang GT convertible with manual transmission and love it. Gas milage isn't a big concern. I ride my bike back and forth to work, so I only use the car for shopping and road trips. It's fun to drive fast!

A Dodge Viper.
Heh heh. Get it? Joke.
But I really don't care what anyone drives ... and anyone who has a truly flashy, hideously expensive car I have to forgive a little bit.
Provision of simple transportation, from A to B, is the car's sole duty.

It wasn't meant to say that a woman couldn't handle a V8 just that everyone in here is talking about how sexy a guy in a truck is. I just thought that there may be at least one female on the board who thought that a guy in a fast car is sexy. Apparently I was mistaken. Thats OK though I drive the car for me, I love speed and adrenaline and they go together so well.

BTW thats a sweet stang you've got I like the old style fastbacks

I'm thinking about replacing my Firehawk in the near future and was going to look at the Mustang. The problem is that having driven Firebirds since I started driving I would have a hard time switching sides.

Before I turned Japanese in the '80s, I was full on Chevy. I had a '66 convertible Mustang in 1979. It was sweet! After GM pulled the plug on Firebird and Camaro a few years ago, the Mustang was the only desirable drop top left with manual transmission (I hate automatic). Sold my Acura RSX in 2/06. Bought my neighbor's '93 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed last year; now I have an '01 GT. I really like the new ones. I rented a Hertz Shelby Mustang last year and drove the piss out of it. It was the nicest Mustang yet - basically a jazzed up Mustang GT. Ford has come a long way, and I really believe that the new Mustangs are fairly well made. If you get a new Mustang, CYA and get the extended factory warranty. Perhaps they are not as refined as Toyota or Honda cars, but they are fun to drive.

I would really have preferred the fastback to be a convertible, but I got to like it. Unfortunately, the consumption of that engine is eating me up, so I reserve that car for fun rides, it always turns a lot of heads with the guys. If I really want to hit it, I put on tight jeans, cowboy boots and a tank top, get stares from everyone then when I get out. By the way, you were not mistaken, I find a guy with a sports car sexy. However, like a suit, he's easily beyond the point where he looks like just another midlife-crisis shaken guy trying to improve his appearance.

Big_Dirigible, the problem with the 390ci V-8 is that you have to be really careful when you have to drive slowly, for example when you reverse into a parking space. I want to see you park it by aiming at the space and punching it, that'd be the way to park a tank.

All I can say is if he's driving a pickup truck, 4x4 or a BMW, I'm running out the back door and hiding - the type of vehicle driven says a lot about the person (and it ain't always pretty).

I'd prefer any prospective boyfriend rode a bicycle, public transit or just walked. I don't get off on car-porn or automotive fantasies.

For that matter, I couldn't care less what size dick he had either - indeed, I'd prefer he had a generally average one.
