I spoke to my gf yesterday and we got on the subject of her toys. She is always very smug about the fact that she uses a rampant rabbit and a clit stimulator and all the rest, personally i find it a tiny bit tacky that she be so in your face about using them but i wouldnt ask her to be anyone other than herself.

She works in a sex shop so shes all for the idea that every girl should have one and its no big deal. I asked if she ever sees guys get a bit apprehensive when they accompany their missus to buy a vibrator/dildo and she says "yeah but i mean come on, everyone has them, its not a big deal"
I say "do you think its maybe the guy feels a bit weird about his gf putting a mould of someone elses dick in her pussy and blatantly enjoying it in his face?"

We had a bit of banter over the subject and all was very much independent woman blah blah blah until i said "ok,,, i think every guy should get one of those pornstar replica pussies. Mmm i could do with a nice tight ass and pussy to fuck when your not around. That would do nicely "

Her reaction was that of sudden shock, disgust and jealousy!! I was surprised someone who had been so relaxed about fucking herself with an artificial willy only 10 mins previously, would have such issues about her bf doing essentially the same thing with a sex toy for guys. I got called "disgusting" for even considering it!

I feel vibrators and dildos have been thrust so far down our throats (oo er) by modern media that guys are just expected to turn a blind eye otherwise be seen as keeping the modern woman down and just being an all round ass. On tv all you see is rampant rabbit this, dildo that. You dont see much on the toys for guys front.

    What are your views people?

Maybe if plastic pussies were more mainstream this wouldn't be an issue?:biggrin1:

I will confess to feeling a little put-off if I learn the girl I'm seeing has toys. It's the concept, but also the toys themselves - they're always so disgustingly rubbery and tacky. Obviously it's her choice and all, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if she came over my place, looked under my bed, and found a love-tunnel, a blow-up doll, etc. She'd be out of there faster than I don't know what. It's a shame that the door never swings both ways in the media in general I guess. Not that I'd want a blow-up doll anyway, haha.

Sorry - I can't resist flippant answers sometimes.

You do, actually, have a point. Women have long tolerated men's love of porn and photos... BUT, there wasn't a physical connection. I guess some women draw the line at physical connections.

Personally, I think it was HOW you said it, not that you said it -- if you look at it objectively, HOW you said it was sort of insulting to her.

Well y'know, maybe if you'd dust under there once in a while...

And I just re-read the thread title and realized it's meant for women's replies only. I'm on a roll today, LOL.

nah it wasnt said in a harsh way, i can have adult convos with my gf without spitting the dummy out :) that way i get honest answers lol.

I thikn porn is a two way thing, some girls dig it, others dont. I think its just that women expect guys to be ok with them using artificial penises because they are so common place in todays environment.

As for the physical connection line...i refuse to believe when my gf is getting hot and wet on her rabbit she is thinking about me! Naughty alone time is naughty alone time! That is not my cock she is pretending to put in her lol! Maybe she just cant handle the shoe being on the other foot

I hear you, but still... she might be sensitive -- even though the TONE may have been nice, the words themselves (" ... i could do with a nice tight ass and pussy...") may have been triggers for her.

That aside, another factor could be this: Some women have a hard time getting off and need a very specific stimulation in areas that are often hit and miss during "regular intercourse". Toys help overcome this barrier, and quite frankly, toys have turned a lot of women into "no, dear, not tonight - I have a headache" into "OK, can Binky play too?"

(Personally, I don't own a dildo, and I don't like vibrators because they desensitize me)

To ignore your real question and focus on this instead -- If my girl were fucking herself with a dildo right in front of me, I'd know she was getting off on me enjoying watching her get off. I mean, you get to watch a gal fuck herself! And she won't be thinking "ooh, this is just like John Holmes was fucking me." It's all about the feeling, not who's dick was the model. A good friend of mine has a simply huge red jelly dildo, and she goes wild when she gets to show off to me how much she likes to fuck herself.

As for when she's all alone, who's to say she isn't thinking about you anyway, even if the dildo is twice as big as yours? I mean, there's gotta be something about you that she enjoys fantasizing about, eh? :)

I think the gf is insecure.
If a man I was with had a blowup or a fake pussy, it wouldn't bother me one bit. Not only wouldn't it bother me, I'd ask for a show.

Men's fantasies are constant. To OP-So you are saying when you're jacking off you are ALWAYS thinking about your gf?
When a guy jacks off, he is able to completely cover and stimulate his organ. When a woman fingers herself, she cannot completely stimulate her whole vagina, as deep as it goes.
So, if a woman wants to completely stimulate herself, she needs to insert something. And those rabbit things will do 2 jobs at once, the clit and the vagina. Just as a man can stroke his cock and play with his balls.

So, women were not built to be able to completely fuck ourselves (unless she has really long fingers).

So because all men have the equipment to satisfy themselves, and we don't, why is it a turn off or a reason to be jealous if we buy the right equipment?

If a guy told me he had one of those fake pussies my reaction would be ick, not because he was fucking a sex toy but because those fake pussies look really weird, almost like he had an actual isolated body part. If he had a fleshlight I'd find that much less icky, it's that the fake pussies are designed to look like pussies.

How odd. I would have no problem whatsoever with a guy having one or more of those toys whether using it alone or with me. Fleshlights supposedly feel amazingly like the real thing. Sometimes BETTER than the real thing. Yet I don't see nor feel any reason to be threatened by them.

A toy can never replace a real human being.

Um...well...not including the folks in love with their Real Doll.

So basically you're intimidated and jealous of a piece of plastic, or even....latex!

I love women and I love women loving their toys. Especially in front of me. Its sex-eh.

    that's more likely.

Oddly, I'm okay with the fleshlight too. You are right though the isolated fake pussy or ass is a little too Jeffrey Dahmer or Hannibal Lechter.

I saw that documentary on the BBC America! Those men were friggin' creepy and weird! The one guy had 8 different sex dolls and dressed them up and watched tv with them before fucking them. He even threw birthday parties for them. WTF!! That is not natural or normal.

Who in God's name would even consider plastic if it were you meeting them at the door?

    Really...your pics speak volumes...

Um, I don't think that's the case for many/most of the men here...

Ok, while I tend to agree I have to also say that I feel the same way about fake cocks. Of course, I know some women feel the same way and find the "realistic" dildos to be weird. But obviously some women and some men will enjoy their "realistic" sex toys. To each their own.

To the original post I'd say good job for making the analogy. The idea that every woman should have a vibrator is silly. Should every woman be able to try one if they want, of course. But not all women will like them. And some might like them and change their minds, or not like them and change their minds. I recently had a conversation with some women where 1 was just trying out a sex toy for the first time and the other had thrown all of hers away. There's no 1 prescription for sexual pleasure among humans and the sooner that idea gets into people's heads the better.

its generally not a given that a man has access to sex. so if a guy is resorting to sex toys to get off, it implies he is not able to get a real woman and is using them as a replacement. this comes off as creepy.

on the other hand women generally DO have access to sex if they want it. so sex toys for them seem to be more of a supplement and not a replacement. this implies she is an uninhibited woman with a high sex drive, two attractive qualities in women.

it sucks. its a double standard. its the way it is.
