If you're like me your precum will feel slippery on your tongue and taste salty but not much different than mucous or your own saliva which for me doesn't really have any flavor.

As you say, the urge to feast on the creamy nectar is there until we shoot, then it pretty quickly disappears. My answer to this perennial problem, which I've mentioned before on other threads, is simple. Next time you shoot have an ice cube tray to hand and fill one of those little compartments. Once frozen your cumsicle is ready for the next time your urge takes hold. Then you just crunch on ice for that great cum taste. Or add them to smoothies for an extra protein hit!
